This makes me a little sad. The class trainers should be removed if Blizzard can't find a use for them. I'd love to be able to use them for learning abilities again, if only for RP reasons. The training cost need only be a few silver.
I want class trainers to have some purpose! And this change might be indicative of that! I don't want to have to go to them every level to learn a new ability like classic though. I'd love low level questlines for flavor and some exp. Druids just being able to magically turn into a bear and such still feel like there should be some quest in the game that explains you learning how to do that. IDK SOMETHING!
Does this mean the SW warlock trainers don't get to spend time in their spooky basement anymore? :(
How utterly BORING.The locations of class trainers speak their lore. Warlock especially, whose location in Stormwind/Orgrimmar were designed according to the story: Alliance warlocks hide, and Thrall placed Horde warlocks there to monitor/manipulate them. Now they just put everyone together. Seriously, what is this lack of flavor expansion after expansion?
I am sure someone has mentioned it but several of those banners are the Legion Class Hall banners so new characters get to be members of the order too!
The expedition gear is from Exile's Reach starting zone
Be cool if they weren't useless NPC's.Maybe make it so we can't respec unless we go to a trainer again.Doesn't have to cost anything. Just make us have to go there to "unspec"
So the horde's paladin trainer is a high elf who is a member of the order of the silver hand, who is wearing alliance colored armor. A couple of odd choices there. I do like the potted plants for alliance druids though. I imagine some dwarven engineer deciding to make a "grove" for them.
This is plain stupid and tasteless. Each trainer should be in a thematically specific place, like paladins and priests in a cathedral as they are on live and etc.
Update Silvermoon and all bloodelf zones!
I would like a guild hub for you to know, guild mate. I really loved the class hall in Legion but I was hoping for a Guild hub with our banners, a picture of the leader, and maybe of achievements. Thanks that say this is US, we are here, and maybe the ability to hang a couple of screenshots. Something kind of personal.
It would be cool if they revamped the class trainers and proving grounds, where the trainers actually teach you how to play, similar to the monk leveling class quests, but better. The silver proving grounds in WoD sorta did this, but they didn't really teach you what you were doing wrong.
im sure all this is fine and dandy, or ..not for some of you however, the real question should be "What happened to the Cata vendors?" Hmm? Anyone?
