Very nice!
Some of the parallax effects look janky to my eyes but the actual detail and lighting are absolutely stunning! One of the best passion projects for WoW I have seen in a long time.
While this looks very cool and was done well, hopefully Blizz doesn't ever get the idea to change the style of WoW with higher detailed/more realistic models and textures. Everquest was an amazing game and then they tried to update it with Everquest II. Totally ruined the franchise IMO. I don't want to see the same thing happen to WoW.
It's beautiful and all that but remember, it's all "empty" world. When you start filling up with NPCs, Players, Objects, Spell Animations etc.. etc.. You gonna need a BIGGER PC to even walk, let alone fly or interact with the world as a Player.
Artistically and musically this is a beautiful rendition of the Stranglethorn Jungle zone. You can tell the artists put a lot of love into it. Thanks for sharing this with us. Hopefully we will see more of their creativity!
Needs more rogues.
Imagine trying to find herbs with the world looking like that, nightmare ^^
Why do not using original music? Is it a fan content? 🤔
wish there was a shot or maelstorm, stv arena, or entrance to BB
Nice! Great job! Cant wait for the unreal engine 5!
Now I want to go on an adventure
i've said it before and i'll say it until we get it: can we please have a single player warcraft RPG like this?
To be honest, it is soulless for me. I know it is hard work for 1 person I appreciate the effort, it's more realistic but far from real and not as breathtaking as others suggestions. That's why Blizzard cartoony style is taking over, no matter what screen I would show you from WoW you would recognize it's WoW, I would show you random without interface screen from GTA, far cry, call of duty, even Witcher 3 (my fav game) we won't recognize them.
Some hopefully constructive feedback - dense vegetation should be lit with volumetrics. Tree tops don't seem to have subsurface scattering, so leaves are absorbing light and not letting it through as they should resulting in the tree tops being dark, same with ground vegetation. Fog could have better matching color with directional light. That depth of field bokah effect is really unnecessary.Other than that it's nicely done :)
Stunningly gorgeous work! This is one of the most real Warcraft Unreal Engines I have seen, it felt like I was actually there! Now, about that looping electric guitar...Really? It is effective and evocative, but not in the right way. Some parts sounded like they could be played during a movie's love scene. Others, a tragic slow-motion scene. I would have greatly preferred no music so I could pinpoint all the nature sounds, if not just the Stranglethorn music with pauses in between tracks.
Video doesn't work, just shows black screen.
