Oh boy its finally happening..... the comic..... cannon.... but steve danuser also stated we would use the azshara canon this xpac so final chance is if we use it in the pre-patch. what does this all mean tho.
Maybe the Alliance will get some greyscales with this. But I kinda doubt it. Blizzard had the opportunity in the past many many times, but the Alliance never had any real internal problems. Nightelfes doing their own thing in Darkshore and pretty much just abandoning the Alliance in Zul'dazar and Kul'tiras? Eh, whatever, nothing to see here! Let them pursue their revenge over a burned tree, taking a useless strip of land back from the horde, that totally lost it's tactical value. Not like they could have helped at other points.
inb4 "it's not enough!"
This dialogue, along with the Nathanos one, seems like it would be used in a pre-patch event. We could most likely expect to see this before our characters hop into the Maw.
It's not enough! >:[
All of this is going to be sick .Hold on tight, we’re going to Icecrown !
Oh man, I hope we don't end up with old Anduin. There's a LOT they could do with his character, simply aging him, or killing him off, is the short way out.
1. If this and the Nathanis stuff is used for the Pre-Patch, it's gonna be awesome2. Wonder what the Rewards are gonna be?3. WHEN RELEASE!
as a death knight player i hope we get to pull bolivars fat out of the fire before heading to stormwind for the pre patch let me be the deathlord i was in legion and lead a misson to rescue our boy bolvar
I'm really gonna hate it if they make Genn the bad guy down the line, he's one of the best Alliance characters we have.
notice the shadow and light in Aduins last scene of the comic were bolded. I believe this might take place in the shadowlands or just after it when the shadow takes over Azeroth possibly. i bet we find a naru or some other form of light that will help us get rid of the shadow forces.
Ho boy. With the possible timeskip after Shadowlands, and now these revelations... we might just be in for a treat. I really hope we won't be let down in the end.
If there's a large time skip I'd only expect it to be 15-20 years. So Anduin would be a grown man, but not old yet. This plotline is the final battle between light and shadow which I don't see happenening for a while.
Calling it now: Shaw is a Dreadlord.
But where is the ShawxFairwind love story? xd
I have this odd feeling that with Turalyon looking over the Alliance under Anduin's absence, that it could cause us some problems. We had Yrel becoming "corrupted" by the light and raiding the Mag'har in the Allied Race questline. While at the same time recalling that Turalyon almost slashed at Illidan when he destroyed Xe’ra, the Prime Naaru just because he rejected her gift.It could be that after Shadowlands, Turalyon would be "corrupted" by the light and we would have ourselves a light-themed Expansion.
I'm still miffed as to why Anduin needs advisors, when he's old enough to advise himself.
Meh I'll belive it when I see it. They've passed the chance for some actual Alliance drama a lot of times. Though I admit I'm looking forward to killing Genn, it's been a long time coming.
