I must say, I wasn't expecting his sh*tshow rant to go the way it did, and he raised some valid points that genuinely made me think about the issue and realise that maybe I need to adjust my attitude. 5/7, in other words a perfect score.
Great video. <3
Boy, do I adore these two. Good points about a serious issue, and he almost got his longboi!
Agreed with the above - I'm glad they took the time to address the comment issue. They're right, we all need to take a good look at ourselves when we make those comments. Why do we say it's forced when it's a same-sex couple, but not when it's hetero, when the same emphasis (i.e. none) is placed on the partner?Awesome video.
was anyone NOT saying thrall and aggra were forced? they seriously have the chemistry of bleach and ammonia. I wouldn't even say this is forced, there is some retconning going on for sure but at the same time who cares. blizzard has no real stand unless this go live unaltered in china. In the mean time sure, lick blizzards boots for making one of the safest and easily editable representations you could. this is the equivalent of people hanging yellow ribbon on their tree/car/house etc back when iraq war started. you kinda care but at the same time you dont' want to be bothered to actually care. instead of yellow now it's rainbow. i'll be more impressed when companies do this when it's more than just a fad be be pro-lgbtGoing to get the same type of idiots as back then too, how dare you criticize our ribbons you must hate america!, just replace ribbon with NPC and america with LGBT people. simple minded people never change.

The video is awesome, not just because those two always are, but because of the serious points given on the night warrior "s*t show". I had to stand up, all alone in my room, and applaud. Taliesin is absolutely right and I cannot find enough words to express my respect for his personality and intelligence.
<3 these guys, we stan <3
Why do T&E get publicity here anyway? Plenty of smaller creators that could benefit more from it and if it's about quality then why aren't creators like Bellular or Hazel shown here? Why are T&E being spoon-fed?
I like the format of T&E videos (and they're very smiley aren't they?) but I can't stand the sociopolitical ranting of Taliesin, which seems to be increasing (both in length and intensity), yet is about as sophisticated as what you'd expect in the college cafeteria at best, but mostly feels like I'm reading Twitter. While most of the time I enjoy this format, he isn't a sociologist and he isn't very informed. There are plenty of public intellectuals that address these topics far better. He pretends the issues are simpler than they are, while at the same time doing the annoying tactic of conflating opposition to methods to opposition to a cause (you're not a homophobe, are you?).It's very easy to take some random comments on a WoW forum as an excuse to use the videos as a soap-box to berate people. I can understand if content creators want to rant on Twitch, but the Weekly Reset has some clout, especially since it pops up everywhere because Wowhead links it (discord, browser notifications etc). If Wowhead are going to continue to promote his videos can we get some more diverse options for weekly news? Perhaps a roundup that includes T&E, but also some more impartial left-of-center or center opinions (but not right-leaning, because WoW shouldn't be a political arena for debate, imo)As for the WoW forums, there are so many random comments you could find opinions about everything, so pick and choose your mockery for sure, it's funny, but let us keep the identity politics out of this space, please.
Watched a few of these videos and my opinion of these guys has only improved over time. It's nice that people don't refuse to discuss things that are a matter of basic decency because it's "too political" or whatever. Of course to the kind of people who hate that sort of thing, "political" is just whatever challenges their world view, not the status quo, which is apolitical and just the natural order of things, or something.
Why would he say something so controversial, yet so brave?Guess it's relevant because Wowhead posted the video, but there are much more entertaining people to watch if you want to see someone angrily ranting about politics.Taliesin just seems to have gotten meaner over the last few years.
@Tolian + phandaal: Speaking up against discrimination has absolutely nothing to do with politics. Speaking up against people who discriminate others different than themselves is not mean. It's necessary.
That was a beautiful rant, and much appreciated. Also, I too forgot about Worgens and Helms.
