Callings will have many options that you can do to progress your character.

Appearances changes, pets and mounts may be part of the Weekly Chest

How much non-PvP content should PvPers need to do to be ready for the Arena?

They want to make sure that there are some gold sinks for those who have accumulated wealth.

Addon Throttling

Not necessarily an addon, but they've noticed an uptick in bot activity (more noticeable in WoW Classic)

Professions

They want to make all professions meaningful not just to the player and to the economy.

They always want Crafted items to be meaningful but it's probably not going to be the best thing that you can get from Mythic raiding.

Character Limit

The 50 character limit is due to the database size that they have. They look at how many people have a large number of characters, but recently they did make it possible to have all characters on each realm

They also don't want people to just be reserving a whole bunch of names.

Stable Organizations

Probably no better UI for the 200 stable size coming in Shadowlands

Solo Island Expeditions

No plans to allow players to solo island Expeditions in Shadowlands

Time Pressure for Horrific Visions

No Time pressure to finish any Horrific Visions achievements or rewards that he knows of

Pet Battles

The dungeons are a lot of fun but it hasn't had as much broad appeal. If the demand in there, they'll take a look at it.

Flying

Yes, there will be Pathfinder.

You will not be able to fly when Shadowlands is released.

Pathfinder will be based off Renown with the Covenant instead of through reputations as they heard feedback about the reputations for previous Pathfinders

Commento di LautnerPathfinder makes the game more enjoyable. Having it from the get-go trivialized content for every expansion we had it. Hell, even 8.3 felt super easy because of flying.

Tentacles everywhere, giant mobs running around- Oh wait, I clicked fly. I'mma go drop down on chests and then fly away again.

However...

Despite being a fan of it... I feel like it should be easier to obtain when flying -is- released. Me personally? It takes like two weeks to unlock flying. I just do normal stuff and BAM, it's open. But my friends don't have two hours to play every day, and when they do, they don't wanna grind emissaries for it.

So I often find myself piggybacking friends who play too many alts, or just don't play as frequently.

This way? Taking out the reputations and just changing it to 'finish your campaign, basically'? Very good.

Pathfinder, to me, has always been "See all the zones, do the quests, play through the content while it's relevent and get flying as a reward when something new takes you elsewhere." Flying is an exploration mode after you've beat the game,in my perspective. <3 But it doesn't feel like it when you're on your third healer class and only Honored with Turtlebois.

Pathfinder for 9.0 should reward flying in 9.0 content. And so on for each new patch, if there're new zones being added. This stuff shouldn't be coming after the content's become irrelevant IMO. Flying should be more than just a convenience for leveling. The entire mounting system needs a revamp to be actual gameplay.
