When reading the book, I was like ''oh my, is this happening ?''.So happy to see some Queer representation in WoW finally. Hugs to Valeera !
I'm really enjoying the book, but I'm a very slow reader. Can anyone tell me if there are spoilers in this article/interview? Sorry if it's already mentioned somehere in there, but I'm trying to resist reading it for now due to the aforementioned reasons.
I was wondering who Flynn might pair up with and now I know! I'm glad poor old Mathias found someone, he always seemed a lonely figure.
i suggested the book to my library. going have to wait 2 weeks though DX. Also Accolon and Pyromancer had interviews with the author a week or so ago before it launched ( i didnt see wowhead highlight it unless i missed it). That would be great for people who didn't want spoiler to be highlighted as well! They both said they would do another after the book launched too..I do love Nobbel too!
Yes. The whole thing is geared toward people who have read it. If you don't want spoilers, I would not watch it. I wouldn't even read this article
You might wanna warn about spoilers, 'cause some of those tidbits talk about stuff at the end of the book (according to said tidbits). To the rest of you: SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!
Flynn was in love with a couple of girls in the Alliance quests during BfA. How can Blizzard forgot this?P.S. I wanted to ask her, about the fact that Tyrande was one of the few guests on the Thralls wedding, while there was ongoing war between Alliance and the Horde. But now, she writes in the book a cold relationship between Thrall and Tyrande - like they never met each other. Was that on purpose?
Ughhhh so annoying having to force myself not to read this because for some awful reason the book isn't available in any format in the UK yet... It seems to be available everywhere in the world besides the UK, New Zealand and Australia - WEIRD. Anyway, I've enjoyed the WoW novels I have read so far and Madeleine did a great job with the short story, so I am very much looking forward to it.
Its not like they have forgotten anything, Flynn is bi and he can be in love with both men and women, as the writter stated herself in twitter as far as I recall
I am happy there is Queer Representation in WoW or at least a confirmed one....I just wasn't expecting to be Shaw and Flynn Fairwind, I was expecting those two troll guards you quest with, in Vol'dun.
The world of games symbolizes diversity. There is no great dissatisfaction with the LGBT character coming out. What I want is that this should be free of coercion.Because this is a novel for everyone.I believe the writer has expressed it beautifully as water flows.
Queer representation hardcoded into narrative. Is great we get to have a glimpse at the creative process behind a book and to finally have the token characters theory of the haters debunked once and for all.Looking forward to see the main narrative/lore lines being developed with the same determination, well done.
He's literally a discipline priest. He has used penance in game, as well as Mind Control in MoP. Discipline rides the line between Holy and Shadow magic, so it makes sense he can use it.
