goodjob. raid part must give raid loot XD
These are always fun and useful. One thing I would say--Taliesin says most players go for the potency conduits. This will vary with gameplay style and class, as I realized I needed to go for the endurance builds to do certain kinds of runs in Torghast as a cloth-wearing caster soloing the instance. The endurance build made a big difference, and mob/boss power scales, so it along with the anima powers that add endurance were very important. Probably it's not so when running groups.
Still really dont understand the system..I'm a ranged dps that's all I'm going to do and raids just someone tell me what conduits I will use simple easy questions bal druid..night fae covenant
I disagree with a lot of what they said on the Great Vault system. Shadowlands is supposed to be alt friendly, right? So, doing 15 dungeons for one additional option is conflicting with this "alt-friendlyness." Sloot, Preach, Venruki, etc., have gone on record to say that 15 dungeons is a way too much. A better option---1, 3, 5---would reduce and help with this alt-friendly expansion. Additionally, they mention the removal of the raid portion of the great vault... because mythic raiders would already receive item level capped gear from running mythic raid. This, I feel, only affects mythic raiders. This are the same ppl who will run several split runs and funnel loot to their raiders to have the highest level possible day one, so lets forget them. Let's worry about raiders who will be running heroic and maybe dip their toe into the first few bosses of mythic before calling it quits for the next patch. Personally, I plan on leveling 3 characters and love the idea of having the flexibility of raiding on one, running a few dungeons on the other and doing bgs and arenas on the last. It takes away from the monotonous chore of running a 10/15 a week and more of simple task, since you are rewarded with an option for checking of the boxes.
Taliesin and Evitel are some of my favourite wow guys and I generally agree with what they have to say.But I dont really get their idea of using the top 1, 2, and 3 runs, whilst still requiring 1, 5, and 15 runs respectively. That sounds worse than what they got now.In the current implementation, youve gotta keep doing difficult +15's to to get the maximum rewards, which is highly time consuming and hard to do 15 times. At least for the average player, or any pugger. (no, it doesnt disincentivize you to help friends through low level runs, its not based on %)in their implementation, youve gotta do 3 +15's, and then you can do the other 12 at mythic 0. Which is far easier, and wont challenge those players in the slightest, its gonna incentivize you to essentially perform rounds and rounds of (relative to a +15 runner) piss easy and completely dead content. It'd just be an extremely boring slog, so easy youre never once challenged, and therefore never really having any fun.iirc he says in the video they keep inventing problems to solve, but there theyre suggesting just that. Just reduce the numbers drastically, like 1, 3, and 5.I DO however strongly agree that blizzard should limit so that not all 9 slots can be unlocked at a time, so we dont feel like we have to unlock all 9 slots each week.Good video, but that one advice, is just frankly terrible.
It should be 3 choices for doing one key. That's what everyone was excited about when this system was announced. Just more choices in the box. Enough with these systems designed to drag more time out of people.
What I imagined from their content discussion is that it would always be linked to your highest Mythic+ run and that it was still going to be a Mythic+ chest, but that by doing other types of content you would expand the number of choices for said chest. So you'd run your M15, but then you'd do 5 different dungeons that week. You'd do 5 Emissaries. You'd complete the raid at any difficulty. You'd cap your conquest. But that the reward would still have the universal item level of the M15. If they wanted to solve this for non Mythic Dungeon people, then they can use those other categories to set the maximum item level for all of the slots, but that max item level should be applied to EVERY slot, regardless of the difficulty of said slot. If that creates an imbalance on, say, the PvP track, then they need to make the requirements steeper or more varied. Make it require battleground wins. Make it require participation in rated for one of them specifically. I don't know. But to have each slot have a different item level, it really destroys the element of choice that it was meant to solve in the first place.
"You collect the gear, you transmog the gear. That's where fun begins and ends in WoW".Harsh but true

I'm fairly disappointed with the great vault as well. Hopefully Bliz reworks it a bit. Their initial statement about giving us a choice in our weekly chest was a bit misleading if they keep it the way it is. Here you get a choice of three pieces of gear but only if you do 1500% more high level M+ keys in a week than you were doing before. Oh and by the way, if you raid you get a loot piece as well, so you don't really need to M+ at all for the weekly chest.
