Great job and its even more amazing when it's coming from your countrymen! so in honor of that i'd like to say "As bayraklari!" :) Keep it up man these are the stuff we actually want to see in WoW.
Very few if any sets of armor for hunters, or rogues for that matter, look like they would do anything but hinder what those classes are supposed to be doing.
"oH ThIS lOOks SoO MucH BetTer!11"1. It's a drawing2. Look at it. Ridiculous amount of polygons.
I have been following his posts in facebook for a while. His other set looks tremendous. But somehow the hunter one looks similar to Horde Arathi warfront one.EDIT: Sercan could work really good as an concept artist. 99% of the people believes if someone is a good painter then they could also be a 3d artist. 3d assets requires lots of works and money to produce than an artwork. This is why we don't see much detailed armors than the one we see from the concept artists. For example: A warrior set should be made for 12 races x 2 genders. It's not just "tweaking", a tauren male and gnome certainly don't have same rigs. So making a warrior set is like creating 24 items. And every gaming companies wants to be efficient. So just because you see a good art, doesn't means it's that easy to make a 3d version of it. Also a harsh truth, most of these concept arts are "edited" from the original one.
we need modders from skyrim and fallout series games to be armor and weapon game designers cause lets face it blizzards current staff cant handle it anymore
Yes! This! I understand that the shift from Tier Sets of each class to 4x Armor Type sets means probably less work for the artists, but I could never for the lfe of me understand the fascination the current Blizzard artists seemed to have with mail type armor sets looking like long dresses and gown ensembles. It just doesn't look appealing enough to use, even non-realistic (from the game's perspective)
I like that no one is talking about that nice looking sword concept.
this is illegal, hunters aren't allowed to have nice looking sets.
This guy REALLY needs to get a job designing the raid sets for Shadowlands. So much potential.
Learn Blizz make better this things!
If Blizzard decided to make cooler sets more often as well with cooler mounts, the game would have more subs. Instead, we have quite a few lackluster sets as well as store mounts that look insanely good, but at a $$$ price instead of a ingame prestigous reward. Examples are like the Glory of the Wartorn Hero for BFA, rewarding players with... the Obsidian Krolusk. Whilst in Legion for the Glory of the Legion Hero, we earned the Leyfeather Hippogryph. (what a DOWNGRADE) and making the Steamscale Incinerator a STORE MOUNT when it was literally built on Mechagon is a slap in the face
Since he started sharing these pieces I always had the same thought... Honestly I don't like them and they might be thematically within WoW stuff, but it just doesn't fit the WoW style. Also, most of what he did was repurpose already existing stuff in game and mesh them together with a different colour... It just doesn't work. I know a lot of people will disagree but here you go... my opinion. Also, (not related with the artist) I hate some comments I've seen surrounding these posts, saying he should be hired (I don't think he is that good or creative enough) and get the art team that makes the current sets fired. The art team some times misses but mostly they are one of the best parts of the game.
me: "Blizz, can we have gorgeous tier sets?"Blizz: "We have gorgeous tier sets at home"gourgeous tier sets at home: ny'alotha sets
