This was a bad move imo.Just do opt in phases and cycle people through.Let them choose the dates they'd like to play and cycle people around in large groups.
I've been signed up since the site went live at Blizzcon. Still don't have it either.
Really sucks that "content" creators have become the gatekeepers to things we used to all be on the same footing for.
False. My guild has killed M N'Zoth 4 months ago and not even 1/3rd of the group has access to the beta.

Nice! The more people join the the Beta Test the more you expand the capacity of detecting bugs and unbalanced features. Therefore, the game will be more polished to release, so everyone can have good and smooth experience.
Not for sale directly* watch streamers give subs higher chances of getting beta keys like always. I missed the days where they wanted opinions from all instead of the select few. I think if they did beta weekends it would increase the chance to get more bug reports and better test data. Of all the things they steal from Guild Wars 2 that is one thing they should.
I feel like I'm gonna get Beta the day before they release it, happened to me once with Hearthstone...
if that isn't a bad sign for people who were subbed all the time, idk what it is... this is some bad marketing imo. people who are watchin the streamers already got insights. this looks really bad.
It's a closed beta just streamers and you tubers I signed up when they first announced it..still no invite
I don't really need an access since I would burn out of the game. What worries me is that most people who have Beta Access test every class and only really understand their main class and a few alts. As soon as they review other classes, their feedback becomes useless. Frost DK is a perfect example of that. I went to the official forums and was shocked how completely unhelpful and unenthusiastic the feedback on that class had been so far.Why have we gotten so many shaman and Shadowpriest reworks? Because a lot of those people play that class regurarly and know what feedback to give. But in some class cases, there just aren't enough players invited to the beta (Feral, Frost DK, etc.) and so those classes get completely forgotten until half an expansion in, when it's too late.I just wish blizzard would focus on getting a lot of the best players of the spec to get into beta, and of course the raiders, PVPers and mythic+ers. Why content creator get them without hesitation is beyond me. Even the streamers that have hardly 100-200 views on twitch got alpha access. It just pains me when I see a restoration druid main trying to play survival hunter for 20 mins and then just be like, "well this class sucks"... really? That's all the feedback you're willing to give? -.-And then you have guys like soulscape who is a total boss at feral and he STILL doesn't have an invite! So no, there are not enough of the right players who get to test on beta. And yes, that's a problem individual classes.
