Very nice! Thanks for the very upbeat analysis. I'm planning to side-run a combat rogue as my dps main (my main druid stays resto), and this overview is just great!I know this will be in the talent analysis, but I do wanna bring it up here for discussion.I spent levelling my rogue using Vigor, which really plays into the fast pace non stop clicking gameplay. Going into deeper stratagem does give me some breathing room for a less intense gameplay.I prefer deeper stratagem because it's less hectic, but will it affect my overall dps? As in, are the talents well balanced in that row for that choice?
If Undad is lurking aorund, can he or others answer my question? Does Celerity trigger Loaded Dice talent?
Needs more utulity - lol I hope that was sarcasm. Nevertheless as someone planning to run a rogue in SL I am definetely happy with how they are playing right now.
“ The balance has miraculously been struck and you find yourself with truly a meaningful choice.”I think you mean withOUT truly a meaningful choice.
Btw thank you for this detailed guide for Combat Rogues. I have a question about legendaries! How many legendaries I can use at the same time? 1 or more? And can I use for example Greenskin's Wickers + Concealed Blunderbuss legendaries to make powerful oneshot bursts every 30 seconds when it procs? Thanks!
Really great stuff Undad! Thanks for the breakdown. I'm so excited for this exp.
great guide! i really enjoyed reading it!
A thought out well written detailed and explained guide that draws on experience and experimenting instead of just running a sim and copy and pasting tool tips... Well, it's about damn time. Honestly feels great and shows actual care for the spec, hope we get more guides like this, wonderful with Undad.
yeah don't care if its the worst going with ven'thyr
As much as I like Outlaw, they really took in the worst direction in SL. We already had one of the most complicated rotations with the most buttons of any spec, now we add 3-4 more. More "fantasy", less QoL is not a good direction.
Hey hey, hold your horses. You know if "combat" sound more familiar to me then I will call it "combat" for the rest of my life. It's just a simple habit of old school rogue. Be water, my friend.
