This made me happy, not only that he specifically was not forgotten, but that Blizzard references past questlines we've done. I also noticed during the pre-patch event that the Argent Crusade NPCs were more reverent towards my Paladin (who was Exalted with them and the champion of every city) then they were towards alts who had only the barest bit of reputation and hadn't adventured in Icecrown at all during Wrath. It's small, but these little bits of immersion really help draw us into the world more, and I hope we find more such examples throughout Shadowlands. And seeing as how it's the afterlife and souls are being misplaced due to the plot, it'd be easy to add more in subsequent patches too!
So during the Legion the machine still worked. It strengstens the theory that it was Argus' soul who messed things up.
Saw him yesterday, gave me a big smile. Thank you blizzard.
just made an account after years of being an anon lurker on these pages...but is there anywhere on here where people have compiled soul sightings like Oro? made me really happy to see him there, would love to find the other flashbacks present in Bastion/SL :)
I am so happy to see this and can't wait to find him. I remember coming across his family when I spotted a treasure chest on the mini map. I often think about the secondary characters and ones without names. It's just something I've done for a long time and it's nice to see something like this in game.
Warbrave Oro <3one of the saddest moment of legion :'(
anyone seen the soul at Aspirant's rest that looks like Grommash Hellscream?
Man I would have loved to discover this myself. Please keep don't do the spoilery title thing again.
Very happy to see Oro, even tho we interacted little with him he seemed to be a very good character. Also, it may be a little detail but his voice when he got impaled was very well done, you could feel the pain with his scream
Now if only he wasn't destined to become a generic blue person...
As someone that didn't do Legion content on my main, he says something completely different if you never encountered him before. :)I was wondering if he said something if you had done Highmountain questing!
Mankirk's wife is in Maldraxxus!
Hey, how do you report interesting info to wowhead authors? It seems that some characters get showered in white light when activating the waystone in the intro scenario, but not others. So far, I think it's just paladins.
I shed a tear when I found him. I'm myself a Highmountain Tauren these days.
He's not the only NPC who died in Legion who shows up in Shadowlands. Amber Kearnen is in Maldraxxus.
OMG imma cry :')
