So it's a less user friendly version of Raidbots.com
they trying to earn money somehow. competition is good i guess

Bloodmallet is a useful tool to see what is ranking good for your spec like trinkets. Sure you can use Raidbots but you'll have to wait for those results while Bloodmallet shows you how impactful they are vs getting a % upgrade to your character.
u can also take item id from wowhead and paste them in ur raidbots lol. so u can literally sim whatever u want and exclude the trinkets u dont want to sim. its just a minimal effort
Bloodmallet is the friendly blog that quickly shows you what to go for or aim for, and I really enjoyed it in BfA. Shadowlands looks like even more info is coming our way. Raidbots is for really getting into the details of YOUR character. So if you sim for 1-2% more DPS for mythic raiding then yes, of course Raidbots is the better tool. But it can be hard to read when you want to quickly "theorycraft" yourself, with a new character, system or item. The souldbind rankings are very interesting for my class at least, because it generally turns the pre-launch theorcrafted facts on it's head. Also! Love how Draenei went from last or second to last for Ele shaman in past expansions to first place in Shadowlands atm. 8-D
I use both BloodMallet and Raidbots. The person who created and runs Bloodmallet did so for a very long time with no income and did a great job of supporting the people who use it.I use Bloodmallet for quick "world" sims, a term I might use to describe a point to base my personal decisions and gearing off. Bloodmallet answers questions like..."Which Race should I pick"?"Which Azerite trait at which iLVL and how many stacks of that azerite trait should I aim for and when is it better than having 2x of that trait"Raidbots answers me questions like...."In a 3m patchwork fight will X trinket be stronger than Y trinket for this particular scenario""Do I sim higher than my friends"""Should i use this new item or replace my gem slots"Both are extremely useful tools and I only pay for bloodmallet because I want to support the creators work. I buy this person a "coffee" every month and I am satisfied to help him, and additional "paywall" items I get are simply a boon.
