The Atal-ai Deathwalker's Gushing Wound ability probably has 3 stacks (like a mage's fireblast) with a 3.6 second cooldown on-use and a ~20 second stack recharge hence the three casts and then a 10s downtime period.
I'll be curious to check the new changes out as I've had no desire to tank or play at all thanks to how bad it feels to play right now. Tanks already have a hard enough job needing to lead and take initiative, why do we also need to be forced into playing the most top-notch possible just to survive basic packs? It has not been fun at all, especially with the influx of new players for this expansion. Tanking is already stressful enough, give us a bit of a break here guys.
Honestly I don't agree with most of the comments saying that tanking in SL is flawed. At some point a tank just shouldn't be able to stand there and pop CDS and just DPS while the healer heals and the dps just dps. At some point you need coordination, use CDs wisely, use CC, kite what you can, barely make it with 0 mana and almost everything used. It only seems fair that it happens at around level 15, give or take depending on the group's skill, for the achievement and mount. This is coming from a Prot pally who got KSM a few weeks ago. Yes it was a challenge, I needed to know every pack, plan accordingly, communicate with the group and wipe many times.
