Bruh dont talk about the numbers of the weekly/max caps.It's a PTR, those values will change for sure, also we didnt even seen the prices for upgrades so...
This should have a weekly and seasonal cap the same way PVP does. Let people catch up and upgrade all their gear. The hard part should be getting the achievements done.
+The cap should increase every week just like Conquest. Otherwise it's a pretty darn useless system. Now both for the already geared mains with the 220 ilvl cap and for alts with a currency hard-cap. When you hit 60 with an alt you can farm PvP to fully gear your character 200-213-220->226 ilvl. And it gets easier the further on into the expansion we get. This system is already late, so starting with a lower cap is already handicapped. It just HAS to increase per week moving forward!Edit:

To me the biggest issue is that in order to upgrade anything to 220 you need to of done every instance at 15+ and in time, by the time that the patch comes out a lot of people that are clearing anything from a 12+ will have 223-226 gear already , i know it depends on the RNG gods to give you the right upgrade, so unless this accounts across to alts , i cant see this system really of being of value until the next season starts. it would be nice if we were allowed to buy items with valor and not just upgrade items, that way we could work to something we really needed and feel like we have achieved something. just my thoughts
I like I can still gain Valor from doing the Callings, because I will never Mythic +. I just hope they'll put something in game for me to spend it on since I won't be upgrading any gear.

To be fair, this cap will only really be affecting us because we're so deep into a season. In Season 2, we will likely have more than enough valor to upgrade stuff with when we get the requirements done (unless you are one of the really hardcore people that get 15s done in season 1 ^^)
My issue with this whole system is the disconnect between what we want and what we're actually getting. We want (I thought) a system for M+ that bridges the gap to gear the same way the PVP system works. For those unfamiliar with that system, PVP has 2 currencies.. Conquest and Honor.
There is still a glearing issue with this. The people who need 220 gear to clear 15's in time can't get it, and the ones who are clearing 15's in time don't really need the gear(some bits and bobs here and there in niche cases). Just check the gear of people who got KSM on sites like raider.io and check their equipped gear, i haveSo the ones who gains the absolute most from this. Is boosters who now can sell 15's by the buckets. And with easy access tokens bought for irl money to convert to gold to pay for these boosts. This game is now blatantly become pay to win
