you won't be a nerf to the mage and hunter because "pure" dps spec and a lot of broccoli brain want to prevail somewhat.. or buff other spec AoE. it's ridiculous that for a very, very long time these characters have dominated everywhere!
The writer for affliction.. doesn't play much affliction. As an aff lock if ur doing keys 15 or less ur entirely outshined by nearly every class. rarely is a lock not last on the dps meter on keys 15 and under. last time i checked their were 5 locks that had all 20's and 150 locks that had done +18's. locks are over hyped and so much more difficult.
Classes that perform better than locks at equal item level: DH, mage, monk, hunter, dk, druid, rogue, pal, shaman, and warrior. The only classes locks compete with are the worst specs of the previously mentioned specs. Locks are not top tier or even second tier at all. this writer is comparing the top couple locks and using them to represent locks as a whole. no confidence in the writer, he/she has no clue how locks feel in keys right now. its rough and sucks to be a lock right now. 223 il 1300io and i still get declined from 14's and 15's told to re-roll in the pink. the writer is so clueless
The dps problem continues to be the same for a long-LONG-time.Dungeons are built towards strong burst in packs and solid-dps on bosses. So specs that are able to do both well, will be part of the meta.None of the ramp-up specs stand a chance of getting far in progressive M+ because even though they probably do atleast as well as burst specs in boss-fights, they cannot pull 10k dps in 20secs like the others do. Since the objective is usually to kill packs as fast as possible, due to timer, having someone that takes 20secs just to start doing damage is not really an option. There is nothing that can be done to specs to fix this, since the entire point is for each class-spec to feel different, to have a different playstyle and rotation. The problem lies in the dungeon designs themselves. The dungeon should give choice of path. Instead of having always just one-perfect route, create situations that allow for several routes, where one that would be more AoE oriented, the other more single-target fighting against mini-bosses that might take longer to kill, but award more %. It would require a bit more beta-testing, to make sure that both paths are similar in timing. It wouldalso allow balance fixes to the dungeon to be easier, since if you only see aoe groups in high keys, then probably a nerf to ST path or buff to aoe path is required.

LOL Idk about this your team probably just stood in the bads there's not much you can do, resto druids are still way up there. You might've done the adds in the incorrect order as well or you just didn't cycle cds right, who knows. It's not an ilvl problem.
There needs to be more discussion on under represented specs, especially healers and tanks.
The thing that was writtin is something that was obvious now, before in bfa and earlier in legion. It feels like a big I told you so reading this.We don't have any buffs that improve the dps nor we have any utility that is game changing.I think there was like a group wide paladin version of lust or something like a +crit% on target that damage that would be good.
Hi, sorry for the noob question, but how you know each spec is each bar? mouseover don't sayThanks.
tanking is not in a good place. something is wrong when prot warrior is represented by 0.2%
