That has happened to me many times before, usually with THPS (the one secret tape in the Downhill Jam level eluded me for a while). Although, i took a 6 month break from WoW after BC had been out for 2 or 3 months (i quit because i could never find any raids that weren't elitist/successful). I started fresh on a new realm, and have been very successful so far *knocks on wood* with raiding and finding a comfortable play style.Taking a break can be a very good thing =)
I was 7 and spent hours upon hours trying to beat zelda on snes. I never worked that out, loaned the game to a friend and never got it back. If you in future intend on including spoilers inside of your blogs please make sure that they are appropriately labelled.Forever disappointedHoocha
I've taken several vacations from WoW... The most recent ended August 08. I'd stopped playing for a good 15 months or so, due to migraines. Every time I'd log in - even just looking at the logon screen! - I'd end up with a migraine within a few minutes. If I did log in to play, I'd have a pounding headache and soon after that get motion-sickness-like nausea.I've taken a few short breaks since then - a week or two here or there - but I don't expect to "need" as prolonged an absence again for a while.
Challenges are fun, but I'd still kill you all to get Rivendare's Mount to drop
I recently picked up Donkey Kong 64 again, after a loooong break. It surprised me how easy it really was. As a kid, the games puzzles annoyed me to no end. Yet now, they're as easy as soloing VC :DP.S.- Brom is Eragon's father
Donkey Kong 64 was a riddle to me. I felt the entire game was so open I really had no clue where to go next and I would quit for a while. Of course, then I start to play again only to have forgotten where I left off from. That annoyed me to no end, but I absolutely love the DK franchise. Diddy rocks! Also, his power level is over 9000!
