Attack the Meta - Just Ahead of the Curve
While a wide variety of Warrior decks are seeing play, the ladder can be most accurately summarized right now as a Midrange meta consisting primarily of Shaman, Hunter, and Zoo Warlock. Six Cards We Actually Miss In Standard
When Standard first launched, there were a lot of cards we were glad to say goodbye to. , , , the list goes on for a good while. But what we didn't even really think about were the cards that we had actually come to enjoy seeing in play. And they weren't even necessarily cards that were all that great. Maybe they just fill an interesting niche or have a unique mechanic. Goblins vs. Gnomes and Curse of Naxxramas may now be behind us, but these cards will live on in our hearts...and Wild.

Up until recently these infamous words have been part of the identity of Hearthstone. The phrase makes up a significant chunk of the game's history and finds itself on the same level of Face Hunter's "Bring out your dead" or Patron Warrior's "Everyone, get in here!"
Without a doubt Secret Paladin is one of the best decks to ever exist in Hearthstone. And yet here we are after the dawn of Standard and it's now nowhere to be found...Or is it?

Tech Cards: Tundra Rhino
A Midrange Hunter deck is only as good as you make it. About 80% of the deck is core, meaning it remains practically unchanged from version to version, the rest of it however, can vary widely. Unlike most others, this particular archetype is highly susceptible to the meta you're encountering. As such, understanding how you should tech those built in flex spots in the deck will make or break your efforts.
It's fitting then that our first ever Tech Cards, a series which aims to help you understand why certain situational cards are included and when you should utilize them, on a card that has become crucial to many Hunter players: .

We've recently noticed Mordanticus, a Hearthhead user, uploading a ton of really awesome lord themed Hearthstone decks. So whether you're a World of Warcraft fan or just like seeing cards that look like they belong together, here are a few decks that are sure to scratch that itch. They may not be that competitive (or competitive at all), but they're really awesome when you try to imagine them as a physical group of minions.
