Best way to get these is to use a stealth class and go through Maraudon. Average 20+ an hour just resetting the instance.

How do you pick up thoses ghost mushs ? Can see it on my mini map but i can't see it, cant right-click anything...what's the deal ?

Yeah, they're in the cave. If the herb icon on your minimap is transparent, that means the herb is underground.

These things sell well at the AH. on the Khaz'Goroth server, they used to sell 1.5-2g per shroom. That's until some @#$%^&* named Boraa started farming Mauradon for them :( Spends about 20+ hrs a day just resetting the instance(maybe sharing his account?), and has single handedly killed the whole GM market on the server... they're selling 13g per stack now... so if they're selling well on your server, take advantage of it while you can ;) There's always someone with less of a life then you...

I actualy came across Ghost Mushrooms in Desolace. Course could not for the life of me find the way into the cave they HAD to be in cause the dot was the off color. It was in the valley close to Shadowprey, where you have to summon find the mouth piece to summon Khan Hratha.

Spawn rate is slow.

Can also be found in caves in Jintha'lor.

Skulk Rock Cave has entrance facing north, towards river at 57.38.

Best bet is to sweeep through, grab what you can can. Log out and come back in a bout 10 minutes. Repeat til you have what you need. I leveled up a Rogue from 14 to 16 while doing this.

Grab extras if you like. They sell well at AH for 1 gold each. Though some people charge more.

Warlocks need 30 Ghost Mushrooms for their quest: Bell of Dethmoora. The Elixir of Shadow Power requires 3 for each vial, and the quest requires 10 vials.

Also during this process I collected 8 gold in looted money and another 5 gold in vendor trash.

Just tried to pick some, and it says it requires 245 skill to pick

Good way to farm it : go to the cave in Hinterlands, take right after the entrance, go to the very end of this way and stay next to the border of the ground ( 58.43 )
From here, your minimap cover all the cave, now, you juste have to check it every 2-3 min
About 6 mushroom every hour

Well I been picking these herbs for past two days in the cave at skulk rock helping fellow guild members, warlocks, get these for their level 60 mount quest. I had a lock in Vanilla, but I really do not remember there being as many warlocks in vanilla as there are in Classic. Every time I go through the area, I stop and try to get a couple. I am a level 47 feral druid so killing the oozes is the easy part. The hard part is putting up with rude players picking the herbs right out from under me while fighting a mob or two. It is very obvious what my intentoions are, but yet people still do not care. I was able to get 11 of them over a two day period, but it is very discouraging having to put up with this level of rudeness. On a better note, Loving Classic!
