Found in the library in the tight corridors. They can be found on the side. Look at every book. It can be on a chair or on the floor.

If you are facing the direction to progress down the corridor, it is on your left when you enter the room. The book is on or leaning against the bench.

Go into the rightmost instance as you enter the Monastery. Continue thru the Anthenaeum. There are two bench-rooms located in the Scarlet Monestery between the Anthenaeum and the Gallery of Treasures. Standing in the bench-room adjacent to and facing the Gallery of Treasures. You will find the book resting upright on the floor to your right--leaning against the wall. Note: Your minimap will say you are in the Scarlet Monestery.

The enterance is the instance on the very right at the beginning of the monestary. I soloed at lvl 46 wasn't to bad.

To Get To Scarlet Monastery

If you started off in In spamming /2 LFG SM, like most of us you will be very relieved once you find a group. ONce you do find your group you need to fly to Southshore. Once you are there, begin your journey north. When you hit the mountain type area you want to follow it more NW. You will eventualy end up at Dalaran. You will see a busted up area with wizards and Elementals, KEEP GOING. Then you run into a lake. Swim across the lake to the islands there. The mobs are lvl 18, if you die, the only way you can solve your problem is by deleting your acct. So continue hopping islands until you are at teh northern most island. Hop in the water and swim again until you see an outline of a castle on the bank. To the left of the castle there is a part where you can walk up, swim here and then you can get up. Once you arrive on land walk over to the road, travel the road N until you see the SECOND fork. There is a sign that says monastery. Follow the road, but off to the left of it to avoid attracting the death gaurds. Meet back up with the road, and follow it all the way to the monastery. In there are minor elites that you dont have to worry about, but there are gankers. They protect the doored instances and kill you alot. IF you are about to die, hop into a portal. Ok, Library is the portal on your right. Armory is door on the right. CAth is the door on the left. And Graveyard is the portal on the left. Thats how you get there.

getting the book

Go into the Library instance. Follow the instance all the way to the last room. In the last room,(should be long with alot of mobs and a few chests) Clear the mobs out, and on a shelf to the LEFT the book is sitting there. "recieve it" and your done. FOlllow through to the boss, or you can just leave.

You can do this on your own if your a rogue like i did just stealthed to the book and used hearth stone and did this quest very easy

Solo'd this as a Level 41 Paly (Critadin, well-equipped). I nearly died (falling under 100hp in middle of battles) like 3 or 4 times, but it's totally doable.

The Mythology of the Titans book is next to another book called "The Aftermath of the Second War" in the chair-filled room right after the Hall of Treasures.

There no mobs around the book, so loot it and heartstone out!

Well I have been to Hillsbrad and even to shadowfang(I am a paladin) but going north to tirisfall, infront of Undercity, the hole way north-east to the monastery.... it just seems to much walking and not just walking, but walking around undeads. I am thinking of waiting to lvl 40 where I ll have a horse + the cool Q from hillsbrad needs 40lvl(doesnt it), it is just that....
I WANNA GO TO SM! And I am 35 lvl. If only a Lock could pull me there. It is just a long journey isnt it?

3550 XP, 150 Ironforge Faction at lvl 35.

the book is a big tall standing book on the floor right under a window to your left.

If you are high enough level rogue, you can sap the mob around the book and grab it, then vanish to erase hate. Easy 3400xp (if you can get past all the patrols and guards on the way there). Too bad the reward kinda sucks for a rogue hehe...

The book is sitting under the first window on the left. I consider it actually the 3rd hallway after the courtyard. But its acually the first hallway that has windows in it.

The book despawns when somebody loots it and only one person can get it at a time.

However, it respawns after roughly 20 seconds.

But perhaps, by studying the past, we can know what to expect and be better prepared for the unknown.

Before dire troubles fell upon Lordaeron, there was a bastion of knowledge tucked away in the Tirisfal Glades. It is rumored that a book called Mythology of the Titans was housed in the library of the old Monastery.

Bring it to me and perhaps together we can unlock the secrets of the past!
