He summons a Maruader with him so it can be a little challenging at a lower level.

I solo'd easily only healing myself once at level 39 Shaman (no totems).

Those of you without coords....Southwest tip of the lake in the camp.

Sapped the Marauder. Killed the Khan. Marauder woke up, gouged him. Looted the Khan's body and got the head, and ran for my life.

Alright, I solo'd lvl 34 druid-here's your in structions.
1-Kill the Marauder guard out front.
2-Kill the Marauder he summons FIRST.
3-If you die, when you rez rez outside of the tent (preferably the back) and heal yourself.
4-Go around and kill the Mauler that is on the right side.
5-Go back in the tent and kill Khan Jehn-his summoned Marauder you slayed will be lying on the floor and he dosen't summon another until the first one's body disappears.

Unless you are getting severely large boosts from some Item, he just isn't possible to take down for a 35 feralspec druid.

Kill the ones outside the tent, sap doesn't last long enough, so I just cheap shotted, hit evasion, and took him and his guard down. Although I am a mace spec. rogue... so I had a few extra stuns in there ^.-

This is easy. 39 hunter. Have pet attack the additional marauder (it was already there, he didn't summon), attack the same centaur with Arcane shot, a Serpent Sting, and of course, hunter's mark. Note, if you do do Multi-Shot, it makes Kahn attack you. Only do this if your pet has a low hp rating. Then repeat on Kahn, steal the head, and 'head' back. Bwahahahaha!

In a big tent at (65,80). Easily soloed as 35 Mage. Picked off guards one by one then you have to pull him and a level 35 guard.

PS: WHY HAS THOTTBOT BEEN RESET?

Thottbot has lost all quest comments older than two days. There seems no way to get any info about the problem. I'm not sure anyone is there to report this to.

Soloed him at 33 with my hunter. Picked off the guys around the tent. Set my pet on him... managed to kill him just b4 his friend killed me. Rezed... killed the friend and was home free.

took him and his 36 guard twice as 32. he dosent hit harder or have more hp than any normal 37,its yust when your 32 you bearly hit him and your pet have big as problems getting tounts to stick..

Yeah, this quest info is retarded! They need to delete all the crap about how well people did on the quest and definitly remove all the misleading false info on it too. EXSPECIALLY the screen shot of the swamp of sorrows when its not even located there. Thankss guys for makeing me run a half hour run there and a hour run back to where the guys REALLY is! UGGG... Adolecents... I SWEAR!

I also got confused with all of the previous comments so here it is the correct info:

Coords: 66,80 in Desolace

He can be found inside a tent around the same place were you did the first Gelkis quest. He is level 37 and he summons a 35 mob to help killing you. First, defeat the mobs out of the tent, and then go inside and kill Khan Jehn and his add.

Cleared now?

i killed him 2 times and hi was bugged and now i wold try agin but hi is not where i found him last bin here like 30-45 min

Ok guys...I figured out how to kill Khan Jehn when he is evading all spells and regening massive health (ie...he's out of combat since that's what WoW does for outofcombat NPCs).

Just melee on him! That's it!

Well...that and you have to do it for 5 minutes. At that point, something happens and he aggros on you. Now he's in combat and taking damage from you! Kill him and take his head.

I could get him to attack me by luring another monster next to him. Sadly I wasn't able to loot him, relogging didn't help at all (4 tries...)

I just tried this quest. (2/27/05) and I was unable to aggro or hit him.. I was able to loot the chest in his tent. Got a blue ring. (Blush Ember Ring +4 str, +5 agility, +8 spirit).. I was able to lvl my dagger skill from 58 to 156 trying to aggro him.
So it wasnt a total waste of time.

Like previous posters have said. I hit him like crazy, two others actually started hitting him too, and we did for like 5 mins or so. When he spawns just kill him but then, its the looting. I had to relog twice before I could loot him. Try moving around his corpse.

Killed him couldnt loot him logged 3 times couldnt loot, doing a 2nd death to c wha happens

did this with my 38 orc hunter, on Thunderhorn, had no problems, turn in gave me a plus 150 to org (greatly increased) and an unknown bonus to darkspear trolls! it did not say how much, but it moved me up to honored with them... since I have not yet logged out of WoW alla has not yet updated my character, I was able to find out that I got 57 rep with darkspear even though it did not say it on my screen. I never would have known if I did not move up to honored...

Khan jhen is still bugged, BUT :

As an earlier poster said , start meleeing him. After some time ( approx 2 min for me ) he started attacking back. HP werent dropping on him, at least not in the target window.

Keep hitting him, with spell and sword, whatever you like - he WILL die.

For me he stayed in the tent and fell dead there. Dumb thing was I was outside when he died, following the *WRONG* advice of some other posters.

So the corpse is out of range to loot.

THE TRICK :
As this has apparently to do with a lag issue , I thought, lets relog.
And BINGO , after relogging khan jhen was on his final resting place outside of the tent for me. I looted the corpse and went my way.

So relogging when you cant loot him might help you as well !

Well, I did it right now. I killed him inside the tent and looted him on the opposite side of the tent-entry (the entry heads to south, so I was on the north-side inside the tent).
