Very low indeed ..... the 18% drop rate of the kolkars is slightly off ........ more like 10% if not lower. Killed about 50 of these so far and only got 3 ears.

Did this with my levl 34 mage, was a breeze. Got all my ears within 20 mins i'd say.

You can find the centaurs along the east mountains directly south of Sargeron.

you know the weird part about this, they all have 2 ears and I got this 2 razorsharp swords but often then dont even give 1 ear . . .

If you do either one of the faction quests first, the opposite faction will have a 100% droprate on the ears (at least it was for me). Otherwise the droprate will take exactly as long as the faction quest.

I have killed enough Gelkis to up my reputation with the Magram to good (grren) but I can't find Warug to complete the quest. When I look at the quest in my quest log, "Complete" is next to the quest -I just need to talk to Warug to get credit. I have been around the entire camp many times, but no Warug?

Any advice?

well actually the caentaurs are at 70,40 precise not 70,50

when i click on the map i see a picture of the map but no numbers on the horizontal and vertical sides of the picture. so how the hell do i find 70 40?

If you go to the Magram village, Warug is on the hillside to the east of it. There is a torch behind him. It is east and slightly north. Unfortunately I do not have his coordinates at this time.

How do we add quests, there is no "Brutal Politics" or "Alliance" (whatever the full name is) quest on Thottbot

I would do this quest while doing the "brutal politics" quest. Kill centaurs in the Gelkis Village to gain reputation and they also drop the centaur ears. You are going to be grinding for a long time anyways so might as well get 2 quests done at once.
Gelkis Village is around 33,88 i believe.

I chose to kill the ghelkis, and I timed it. It took me 59 minutes to kill enough to get faction. The cool thing was i got the last centaur ear at the same time i got the faction. So really, didn't matter to me, was not a waste of time but admittedly it was boring.

Yep, it took me about ~1 hours aswell to collect all ears. Droprate is really bad. About every 5th or 6th kolkar dropped an ear only.

But even they r all humanoids and suppose to have 2 ears, magically when they die their ears just dissapear o_O (rate 30%)

Kills confirmed at 70,50. Solo'd at lvl 35 Paladin, so quest was green to me by then, still got 3750 XP :). Only took about 45 min. to get all the ears.

I finished this at level 32. The reward was awesome in terms of XP, having the whole XP bar rested till level 33.

It came as a sort of revelation to me that I only had to kill the centaurs and not the others, which was good, could have finished it earlier at level 30-31

I initially started on the centaur faction quest but after more than 30 kills nofaction change and only 2 ears. Oh well I shall plod on and get the remaining ears and not worry about the faction. lvl 35 NE hunter

easy quest and the reward is great : 3700exp at level 34. plus the ring, of course

I found killing the scouts and Windchasers at the Kolkar Village (cosmos 70,45) had the best drop rate for the ears. Not to mention no faction loss for killing them.

Just did this at level 32 at Kolkar Village on the right side of Desolace. Drop rate is terrible, probably every 7-8 mobs per ear. Mobs respawn fast. Got about 7 bars of exp unrested by the time I got all 15 ears. About 30 minutes of killing
