The 3 types of murlocs needed for this quest can be found on the beach. You can easily go to the north then back to the south, killing all murlocs you see.

By the time you'll be back to the camp, you'll have killed enough of each.

This quest isn't too hard, except some of the Flesheater's are level 44 so proceed with caution on this. The murloc's die fast, but they also respawn quite fast so you have to keep moving, or you might get overwhelmed by respawns. The safeist thing I found for this quest was to pull them off the beach, and up onto the highrise.

Flesheaters probably rarer than the other two. tHere is a spawn of 4 single pulls at about 88,78 that I farmed in between doing the other types, around the dead turtle.

Go after the flesh eaters first, the regular murlocs and the Inkspewers are all over the place.

The flesheaters are more rare but can be found at the turtouise skeleton on the north side.

I found most of them at 92,64. Although be careful the further north you go, as where the tents are, there is a lvl 46 murloc who's quite hard to kill

You can find both inkspewers and flesheaters by the ton in Stagalbog Cave, which is in the mountains heading from Misty Reed Post to Stonard.

Eastern coast of Swamp of Sorrows. Also in the cave. Now there is definitley a glitch or something on one or more of the murlocs/inkspewers. I would be almost done killing the things and suddenly they'd run away my pet would stop attacking and they would gain all their health back. And then they would come back and fight me more. If this happens to you don't bother killing the guy just move to someone else. Levels range from 41-43. 41 for the murlocs, 42 for the inkspewers, and 43 for flesheaters(usually). Not tough at all. 43 hunter when I did this quest. Average exp for me was 240 per kill. They dropped money and fish oil, that's about all I got. Note: there are no murlocs in the cave, you will have to get them on the coast. Another note: In the cave there are also oracles who are level 45's. If you aren't high enough level watch out for them. There really isn't much need to go too deep in the cave. Also deeper in the cave are Talkers. Level 50. Hope this helped. ~JacksHeart~

If ur having a hard time finding flesheaters, chek around 93,53...i found plenty there.

Well the other two were easy enough, but the Marsh Murlok was really, REALLY, sparse. I even killed a bunch of the other two, hoping they'd be replaced by Marsh Murloks. *sigh*. I eventually got 7 of the 10 and then logged off after a long wait of nothing but the other two. I'll try to finish tomorrow.

The flesh eaters are to the right of the murcocs behind the camp on the sea front....just head around the water front to the right and you should see em

It's a real grind but not more than usually annoying except for their long aggro range. Despite what some players have written below, I found the Flesheaters to be rare, and occasionally linked / tethered to Oracles, which are casters that do a lot of damage. Granted, they don't have a lot of armor, but you'll be getting whacked by the Flesheater you originally went after while you try to kill the Oracle. If there's a duo, always try to kill the caster first.

As others have noted, the cave is full of Flesheaters but it's also full of a lot of other things, so between quick respawns and LOS issues, you'll be real busy.

One real surprise - Feign Death doesn't work with any of the Murlocs. I've emailed the FD manufacturer asking for a refund but I won't be holding my breath. Hmm, maybe it was intentional? No greens from killing these guys but a reasonable amount of silver and (after turning in the follow-up quest), some rather good green weapons and 8,050 XP at level 41, so it's definitely worth doing. Watch out for Somnus, a world dragon cruising in the area.

I suggest you hold off doing this quest until you have The Swamp Talker quest.

To get to Swamp Talker, you have to enter a cave which has some of the Murlocs you need for Threat From the Sea.

It would bring me great pleasure to slay the fish men by the hundreds if it were within my power. But I garner some pleasure from watching their deaths at the hands of any who do the Horde's will.
