To complete this quest you first need to go up to the graveyard just north of Deathguard Dillinger. There you will find a mausoleum and the skull stone trigger is just next to the road on the left side, leading to the mausoleum.
When the skull stone trigger has been activated Ulag the Cleaver will open the mausoleum doors and come out. Slay Ulag the Cleaver and then return to Deathguard Dillinger to complete the quest.
Once completed you will gain Defensive stance, Sunder Armor (Rank 1) and Taunt.

When u stand just infront of the mausoleum take a few steps back and on ur left u shuld see a Flat thing with a skull mark on it lying on the ground click and it will open and he will be coming out of the mausoleum

The Mausoleum Trigger is at 59,48 click on it and it will make Ulag the Cleaver spawn

Its locate in Tirisfal Glades.
North West of Brill, in the graveyard!
There is a small building with a door that can be open.
You need to use the Mausoleum Trigger before u open the door in 59,48 it's just near the door, not so far.

The switch is on the ground. If you walk away from the door in a straight line it's on the right after the gate (or whatever it is).

I saw your picture but the skeleton switch thing isnt there? I tried getting rid of the quest hten accepting it again but it still wasnt there ?

the switch is at 56, 48 on the ground, then Ulag will come out of the door

My warrior is a lvl 10 troll. I flew the zepplin to uc to get to brill just to get this quest. I got the quest to talk to the guy...he then gave me the quest...I then proceeded to the stone and nothin...it didn't let me 'activate' it (no gear cursor). I checked my quest log and it wasnt there. Then I glanced at the chat log and noticed: 'you are already on that quest'. It clearly was not in my log. However, I did already have a 'Warrior' - category quest: Veteran Uzzek (Durotar) https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=1505/veteran-uzzek The Uzzek quest leads to "Path of Defense" quest https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=1498/path-of-defense which also awards defensive stance, etc.

I think this is a bug...he shouldn't have even tried to give me the quest or maybe told me what quest it 'matched'. Before I figured it out I filed an in-game ticket for which I got:

I know exactly where the picture is taken from... BUT THERE IS NO TRIGGER! FSS.... and what do u mean with the location 59,49?... does some1 know why it is not there...? can that im the gm be the reason? please help....

I did this quest today and it went off just like it should stone was there and unlocked door not a bad fight with 10 lvl tank

OMG i cant do tgis quest because i skipped it at lvl 10 and cant get it back. I am lvl 20 and no def. stance. what do i do :'(

I'm a level 11 warior and i can't find the stone. I killed the darkhounds but i can't find that switch. I can see Ulag near the musoleum but i cannot do nothing to him. I also opened the doors without activating the switch but nothing happened. I think its a bug

I was a lvl 11 warrior i foudn the stone it might help if u look not next to the mausoleum as they cal it,but walk away from it and it's near the trellis.hope this helps.And,as a lvl 10 warrior i pwned him so bad

At the entrance to the Masoleum, to the left, on the ground. It has a skull on it.

can anyone send a screen shot of the skull stone pls. i tried to put the coord. addon but the server says that it is banned. so i click in almost every stone but it don't trigger nothing.

Yeah I couldnt find the "large stone" because it wasn't large at all, bad description of the quest...

Yeah, this is lame, but I'm level 15, forgot about this quest until someone asked me about it, and I tried to click the button to bring him up but it won't allow me to, I can't think of wha tthe problem can be except maybe my level being too high? But if thats the case what about the things you're supposed to get from this quest? am I just $%^& out of luck?

ok..the coords for the Mausoleum Trigger are 59,48. This is NOT a headstone. It is a FLAT stone lying on the ground with skull and crossbones on it. Trigger it and then go to the Mausoleum door and open it. Ulag will be standing there.

BTW this is in the graveyard in Brill

Ok, 2 things:

First, the stone to open the door is by no mean 'large', it's a plaque with a skull engraved on it. It's on the floor in front of the mausoleem.

After clicking on it, you'll see a lightshow on the door, you go open it and Ulag comes storming out of here.

Second, this quest gives you Defensive Stance, the Taunt ability and the Sunder Armor ability as a reward! A MUST!

Make sure you do not have the equivalent level 10 warrior quest from the other races on your queue (Or have completed it) or you will not be able get it from Dillinger.

I found this out as I had the uncompleted Orc Warrior quest on my queue. I could see the marker for this one, but Dillinger would not give me the quest. I dropped the Orc Warrior quest and it became available.

Reward is obviously the same.

If you're a war that came from kalimdor . make sure u dont have any other war quests in your log. like the one from razor hill, it will block this one from showing up.

When the Scourge swept through Tirisfal Glades, we captured one to study. He had a free mind, and called himself Ulag the Cleaver. But, although his will was free, he was still enthralled by the Lich King.

We hoped to find a way to break the king's control over Ulag, but we failed. Now, finally, it is time to free him.

Free him, and kill him.

Activate the skull stone trigger near the mausoleum to the north. This will lift the magical seal that binds him.

Then... be ready, <name>.
