I'm here where the marker is on the map, but I can't find her anywhere... If I do /target jennea it targets her, but the portrate is empty. :(

u need to go up the wizards tower in the middle of the mage district in SW, goto the top of it (its a sprial tower) and ull see a portal, go through that and ull be right infront of her

is this a human only quest? cuz im a gnome and i wanted the staff, so i went to get the quest but the "!" was grey

This starts a Mage only quest leading to Mage only weapons at the end. The sending NPC is Zaldimar Wefhellt, Mage trainer in Goldshire, Elwynn Forest. He is asking to find Jeanna.

Jeanna is a Mage Trainer as well, in Stormwind and she is giving the Mirror Lake quest.

Mirror Lake the end (short quest), you will able to choose between : (mage only)

1) Ley Orb : an off-hand + 1 spirit
2) Ley staff :2H Staff 16-25 dmg +1 INT +1 spirit (if iremember well) .

There is a similar quest in Ironforge for Gnome mages (the NPC is BINK, a Mage Trainer in Ironforge) leading to items of same quality : an orb and an Arcane Staff.

I recommend to try do both versions to get once an orb, and with the other NPC a staff.
