Lady Sathrah is a level 12 large grey spider that can be found at multiple coordinates. A few to try are 39, 25 and 48, 25. Search the general area east or west of the river at the top of the map of Teldrassil and you should find her.

If you are level 10 or 11, you can kill her by waiting until she is off by herself because she spawns minions. If you are level 12 or higher, killing her and the minions should be no problem.

Yes you have to know that lady satra is a GREY SPIDER...do Not look for a human like thing.
I found her west of the river, at the very top of map, i could not go any further up, and she was close to the river but if you walk on water you have to go around to the tops of the hills but she is not with the things that have the blue flush balls around them by the river, she is on higher ground whit spiders and those pumma like animals, yet from the place where she is you can see the river viewing it to the down side of hils but you can't walk from the river directly to the spot you have to walk fairly close to river yet not realy along the river and cut into the land before the river ends and when you see the swamp things with blowing balls around them. I FINALLY found her also at 48,25. This quest took me about an hour. Crazy.

If you're a hunter, she will show up as a named dot if you're tracking beasts.

I'm a level 10 Night Elf Druid...recieved the quest from the lady in the temple...and then spent the next two hours trying to find that damned spider! Even went so far as to search for her while I was a ghost (yeah, I kinda died several times)! As a ghost I could travel all over without being harmed, mauled, kicked, hit or spit on, and without having to stop every few yards to PREVENT being harmed, mauled, kicked, hit or spit on! I went to the very top of the map, where the river turns into a great falls, climbed a rock, pushed thru some bushes on the rock and guess where I ended up? In the g*dd$%ned Veiled Sea! Couldn't get back up those mountains for nothing...AS A GHOST! Literally swam halfway around the world til I got to that little village with the flying thingies! Can you guess I'm new to this and haven't got the names down yet?

First, Lady's location can be on EITHER side of the northern edge of Wellspring River. Don't just go to one side and expect her to be there - I've done this quest twice with two different characters, a lvl 11 Priest and a lvl 11 Druid. While playing the Druid, she was on the west side. On my Priest, she was on the east side. The east side is defintiely a little easier as there are less Feral Nightsabers (lvl 11). There are, however, several other spiders around her lvls 10-11. Be aware of that. Check both sides before you give up (of the river)

Second, Lady S. is a lvl 12 GREY spider - this might help you recognize her out of all the other spiders.

Third, Lady S. was relatively easy to kill with both characters. Wait until she's by herself, if you're lvl 10-11, because a second or third spider could finish you off. Anybody lvl 12 or higher should be able to take her and one of her lvl 10-11 buddies no problem.

Hopefully this helps you. Also, be aware that there are Timberling Elementals in the river, so when you're crossing to either side, be aware of their presence. Good luck friends!

i found her at 48,25 the most common.
DONT LOOK FOR A HUMANOID, she is a large gray spider!

however the info says the quest ends at darkshore with Priestess A'moora, this is not true, the decription is correct she is in the temple of the moon in darnassas. so dont wast your time going to darkshore to complete this quest.

I found her at 47,25 and there were 2 feral nightsabers lvl 11 and 3 giant webwood spiders both lvl 11

Just finished this quest. The description of the quest is quite misleading, actually. Personally, I was expecting a beautiful but enchanted druidess. Turned out to be a large grey spider.

I followed the Wellspring River to the northern border and the looked for her on both sides of the river, just before the point where the river ends into a waterfall.

Good luck to those who're still trying to complete it.

I went off too, but I actually spent an hour and a half swimming/floating to Darkshore where I had to find a Spirit Healer.

TEARS OF THE MOON.

I found the Silvery Spider Lady Sathrah at this location: 35,18 by 41,24 (CosmosUI).

Look on the West side of the Wellspring River at the very North End of the river.

She may also spawn on the other side of the river (East), but I did not find her there.

hey guyz, this is what happened to me:

on top of the waterfall i went east with another two people in my guild, we where looking for it and as I was looking I fell of the cliff and couldnt find my soul again cos the spirit kept on falling too.

so the other two people killed the spider and got what they wanted, i later found them and they offered to help cos it was quite4 difficult on my own, so we went looking for it again. And guess what, it couldnt be found.

So after reading this it seems that the spider might be on the other side!

Searched BOTH sides of the river for at least an hour, killed lots of webwood spiders, but no Lady Sathrah!
Eventually gave up, wouldn't recommend this quest.

Wow whoever said this quest isn't worth it must not have looked hard I started out at west side of river switched to east 10 minutes after starting quest I solo'ed her with a lvl 11 priest

I went to it's pop area, and found it all fine and all. Except when I finally killed all the links from the area and got ready to fight it, it disappeared right in front of me! First I was thinking maybe it is a bug or something, but seeing as it was dawn at that time and the quest description spoke of it spinning its threads in the moonlight, I started to wonder if it only appears during night, when the moon shines.

So, has anyone proven this one way or the other?

FYI guys the spider spawns to the east of the river "and" to the west. I followed the guide here and when i went east of the river i saw the spider, but i fought a nearby mob to prevent a link and when i killed it the spider had vanished. So i waited around for a bit and went west of the river and there she was.

She can ALSO spawn EAST of Wellspring River. Just go up to the Oracle Glade and if you DON'T see her there, she is EAST of the river at the Northern most tip. Took me a while to find her since I kept running around near the Harpies.

When mastadon says "to the left or the right" he means WAY to the left or to the right. We finally found her after about an hour of searching. You have to go far enough to the right (where we found her) that you cannot see the river anymore. Big silver spider. Lvl 12 ;)

First found her about 100m East of Wellspring Lake, against the Northern border of Teldrassil. Just as I got there, she was killed by someone. I farmed the area for about 15 minutes, waiting for her to spawn, and she didn't. I decided to check the other side. I found her about 200m West of Wellspring Lake, also against the Northern border of Teldrassil. Level 12, if I remember correctly, and no more difficult than any other level 12 spider mob.

I found her @ 48,24 near on the right side of the wellspring river.

She is a blue spider.

She takes less than 2 minutes to spawn. I found her about 30 seconds east of the river (past the first line of trees) and killed her. Ran to the other side of the river and found her again. Also past the first line of trees... normally I find her right in the nook next to the waterfall on the west side... but it seems her spawn point can vary a few hundred feet. Wild.

Also, to answer a question posted earlier, she spawns at all times of the day. If she disappears go to the other side of the river. She spawns QUICKLY.

does any know how long it take the lady the grey spider to respawn after some one kills her? i have found her twice belly up and i waited around for her to respwan close to an hour and she never respawns back.

i found her after hours of searching... no joke... in the north eastern courner.
she is a blue spider the cords were...47,26. If you do have the cords addon then go to google and search "wow coordinates" some downloaders will be available.

I found her at the north. West of Wellspring River. All to the north, a short distance west from the shores. She lookes like a spider, only she's grey

I followd the river all the way north to the 2nd waterfall. Then I went left along the wall. There she was about 200m from the river, large and gray/silver.

I couldnt do this quest in 1 hour maybe and a half... -.- cuz I couldnt find lady sarah anywhere! I just saw Giant green spiders lvl 11
First I went to the right northern part of the river at the EAST and there was her dead body.Then I went to the left and find more Giant spiders
I killed those spiders and find Lady Sarah above them -.- (She appeared at the right side)

I'm wondering if you are referring to the spot where Wellspring River flows off the top edge of the map. I've searched this area for quite some time, but haven't found Lady Sathrah yet.

Am I in the wrong area?

I was looking for a pretty blue spider...like really BLUE. She isn't blue...she is grey...and yes she spawns on both sides of the waterfall. Just stay up against the mountain edge. Don't fall off on the other side like I did. She isn't there all the time. Where I ended up killing her on the east side I had already been there, went and explored the west side, came back and she was there.

If you are on top of the waterfall, you want to go RIGHT. Follow the top of the map RIGHT(EAST) until you reach the impassable mountains. She spawns right there. A big silver spider. location 49,26 on the cosmos UI map

I found her directly, and I mean directly north of Oracle Glade on the map. I was exploring that area, and she was north of Oracle Glade just wandering about.

I did this quest solo! All you need(for a priest anyway) Is starshards, mindblast and Powerword: Shield! Just shield yourself and alternate using mindblast and startshards!

Image that guides you to her location. TL:DR She is at either side of the very end of the lake up north.. She is a grey spider. She does not patrol around the lake.

To complete the quest you need to locate Lady Sathrah, kill it and loot Silvery Spinnerets.
Leave Darnassus and follow the road (to east) until you reach a crossroad. Hit the road to the north.
The road leads you to a big tree and a moonwell nearby. Keep moving north and east getting closer to the river.
Lady Sathrah spawns either at west or east side of river, so check both sides to locate it

Playing WOW Classic and found her at 48,25 was making my first run spamming /tar lad and she was there.
I cleared the area of 9 to 11 Giant Webwood Spiders and kept a Shield on myself and kept Shadow Word Pain on her and beat her with my mace.
Never ran out of mana very easy with Level 11 Priest.

Lady Sathrah was once beloved of Elune. Graceful and pure, the spider spun her silver threads through the moonlight, catching the evening mist. The silvery dew had strong healing powers and was kept here in the temple.

But of late, Sathrah has descended into madness. Her future generations are now threatened as well.

Find Lady Sathrah, <name>, and end her suffering. She dwells along the northern borders of Teldrassil, near Wellspring Lake. Gather her silvery spinnerets and bring them back to me.
