The shipment is in the house to the right of the camp on the second floor but watch out as there is like 4-5 pirates just down the stairs that lead to the second floor and they can't be pulled one by one.

Fun little trick to complete this way under-level: run into the pirate camp and make a beeline for the two-story house to the right. If you can get close enough, and get killed, take your ghost upstairs to the bedroom and you can usually resurrect inside, loot the cargo and hearth (or, since I was on my shaman, Astral Recall) to safety.

Yes...its very smart to get all the quests from Steamwheedle Port before you head in there...makes like that much easier

haha. after reading up on you guys dying and watnot and then ressing upstairs, i thought hmm ill try that. First i was trying a few other quests there in the pirate village and i got killed by a mage from the horde. He killed me close enough to the building that i could res upstiars and get my quest done! No dmg loss to gear and another quest complete ftw!

Many thanks to all the posters. I probably would not have had the patience to look for this one-horse burg except for the directions. My 41 Druid stealthed in but they spotted me and attacked. Shifted to the bear and made it up to the second floor where the poor bear died a quiet death. Never had a chance.

Following your instructions, I was not upset at all or worried about corpse campers. Rezzed on the second floor, picked up the shipment of rum (it was surprisingly light...), shifted to bear form and charged down the stairs through hundreds (well, maybe 5) bad guys, all throwing stun as fast as they could.

But I made it out, raced for the water, rinsed off all the blood and whacked three of the big turtles on the way back to the bar. All in all, not a bad quest, mostly thanks to all of you.

This was pretty tough, but I managed to get it done on the 2nd try.

My first time in, I cleared the mobs leading up to the house one by one, or occasionally 2 at a time. But when I got to the house, I had two run out to me before I got inside. I started fighting them, but one got away from me when they "ran in fear" and brought back two more. All in all, I had to fight five mobs in sequence, up to 3 at a time. I used a few potions, but I managed to get through it without using Lay On Hands.

But then when I entered the house and tried to go up to the middle room, I got 3 more at once, and this time I ran out of mana and was unable to heal, and died as a result.

When I came back, I just had one guy to fight at first, but then they started to respawn on me. I ended up having two more 3-on-1 fights, but I changed to Blessing of Wisdom to improve mana regen, and used Seal of Light to recover HP during the fight, and that made the difference.

This would be a cakewalk with a 2nd person of similar level, of any class. But I think a mage with AoE that can kill the mobs while I heal as necessary would be ideal. The fights would go very quickly that way, and any mobs that run could be taken out by the mage's ranged spells.

It's at 72,46, as you enter the camp the house in your right hand.

I soloed it with my 45 warlock and the help og my voidwalker.

Warlocks: Just make good use of fear.

Thanks for all the great info on this quest... Here's what I did... While mounted I ran into the house and headed for the stairs... they all followed... When I hit the second floor I drank a healing potion, grabbed the goods and ran out with Divine Protection. No fighting or dying.

To find the place, go into the walled camp where the pirates are. its the first building on the right as you walk in. First floor has like 3 enemies, just stealth past them. Go up little steps and into next room. There you will see like 4 enemies, just stealth past and use distract if needed. Go up the stairs the boxes are on your left at the top of the stairs.

Grab stuff, repeat to get out in reverse.
Nothing ever touched me or notice me.

The shipment is on the top floor of the first house on the right as you enter the compound area.

I soloed this as a 45 warlock with my voidwalker.
First I pulled the two pirates on the first floor of the house outside and killed them.

Then made my way inside to the 2nd floor where I got jumped by 3 pirates. Sic pet on one , feared another and took on the 3rd. Ended up dying on the 2nd floor.. rezed with soulstone and RAN up to the top floor.

Shipment is the pile of boxes. Got jumped by 4 pirates used Howl of Terror which sent them running with just enough time to open & collect the shipment before they came back.

Used Howl of Terror again to send them running and hightailed it out of there with about 100 hp left but I survived! having only died once.

Had a bit of trouble finding this one myself and for those who aren't sure of the Town it is The Lost Cove. head south from steamweedle port.

Stoley's Shipment is located in Lost Rigger's Cove at 72;46 in the 2 story house. You click on some cargo upstairs.

i listened to Kleinduimpje's advice but also used ice armor for the slow effect which got me out with more health and almost full mana

The Coordinates 72,46 are in fact correct but when it comes up on your map it looks a little confusing. When you first enter the pirate town, it will be the first house on your right if approaching from the north.

Up to the top floor and there is a stack of boxes...

As stated its a pretty easy quest, I stealthed into the house, however I was seen by the lvl44 swashbucklers (the 3 linked ones on the 2nd floor), then just ran to the 3rd floor and vanished.....looted the stolen cargo, then just hit evasion and sprint and ran out :)

First: The camp is south of steamwheedle port, through a cave, across the beach.

1) House entrance is 72,46

2)For no cords, House is only 2 story, on its own parallel to the large dirt hill.

3) Hunter- Kill 2 mobs on bottom floor
- Dismiss pet
- without aspect of cheetah run past 3 mobs in second room and up the stairs.
- Feign Death
- Awake and loot
- same concept works on exit, or you can try to kill them now because you've got nothing to lose.

Hope this helps.
Tip: Watch for Horde/Alliance on PVP server I was ganked a few times in the area.

walked in and saw they were gonna give me a hard time so i laid da smack-down on all their asses walked up to the 2nd floor at the very top there are boxes wid da gear on them and they all say "stole cargo" just click on ANY of them and u got it, grabbed rum, had a mouthful and stumbled on home on da horsie. all in all an easy soloable quest.

as u enter da compound it's da only 2 storey house in da whole joint and iff dat still confuses u then it's da 1st house on ur right.

Easy as 49 warrior. If you enter the camp (see the first screenshot for location) it the building at the right, you can't miss it. The most mobs I had to fight at the same time was 2 and that wasn't hard. Upstairs aren't any mobs, just the boxes.

lvl 48 fire mage. i ran in with mana sheild on but due to lag, i ended up dying anyway. res on top floor, get cargo. mana sheild and just run out plus using blink. all in all a very easy quest =)

some people say there is only two on the first floor. I entered the house to find 5 in the first room. 3 by the door and two by the stairs.
Im a level 45 Warlock and as anybody would have guessed, I died. For a 45 quest this is impossible.

This quest is simple,if you do die on your way up to the loot,dont panic cause you run back in go to the box and resurrect,then either port out or run like the wind.XP is 3900 at 43,with no reputation changes.

Did this the cheesy way. Almost killed the 2 tied together on the first floor until the 3rd aggroed, ran up the stairs nearly onto the third floor and died there. Got corpse, got cargoe, shielded, ran and aggroed all the mobs in the building, feared, and ran like the devil. Not too bad a quest.

solo'd as a lvl 41 preist, fought my way to the door 1 by 1. then rode my horse in as far as possible, put shield on myself got up stairs using pyshic scream and then died. spirit walked back (and its a long walk) got the goodies from the boxes then just done exactly the same down ran into the water and kept swimming till the aggro left, then rode away in to the desert sunset to cash in on 3900 xp and a nice pair of boots:))))

Did this as 43 Hunter. I used my ram to run through the walled entrance then ran into the first building to the right as you past entrance. Go up the stairs to the third floor, have pet use as distraction, then feign death if mobs are near you, let them leave to go after ur pet, grab stoley's shipment then book the hell outta there and hope ur pet is still fighting all the mobs. Your pet dies, but its worth killing all those mobs. Took me less than 5 min.

The walled pirate town in question is not very far south. The trick is to find the entrance to the secluded beach area, you have to go through a short tunnel through the mountain.

aonce in this area, there are guys to kill, but if you don't want to waste your time, make your way carefully over to the fenced in encampment. It is onthe second floor of the building on your right when you enter, it seems to be the only 2 floor building. There are 3 to kill on 1st floor and 3 more in an adjacent room that is half a floor up. The quest item is upstairs.

If you have a mount and run all around the mountain and come into the camp on the seashore from the South, you can enter the camp over the fence just where it joins the mountains. The big building is on your left and there are a few people there to kill. This is a good way to leave too if you're a low level for this quest and wish to sneak in and out.

3 swashbucklers at bottom of the stairs, who spam disarm. Kinda annoying for melee chars.

As a lvl 43 rogue I just stealthed until the 3 mobs at the bottom of the stairs, got detected, ran upstairs and vanished, looted, waited for vanish timer, ran back outside and vanished again.

Ridiculously easy quest. I'm a level 45 rogue... Stealthed, walked around the guards, jumped up on the table, grabbed the shipment and stealthed out. Not sure how easy it'll be for other classes though :P

I completed this quest @ level 42 without attacking a single guy. As a priest I shielded myself and once i made my way up and found the right set of boxes used Scream to make the enemies run away just long enough to get it and run. Not a scratch on me.

Am I the only one who ran into a lvl 47 elite?

Managed though as a lvl 47 hunter. My pet focused on the elite one while I ran upstairs. Several followed me up so I feigned death next to shipment. Once they left me I rose from the dead and opened the shipment. After the elite finished with my pet he came after me though so I died.

FYI I got coords 71, 47 using the july 2005 version of cosmos, so the posts below are wrong using the latest version. The food is on the 2nd story of the only 2 story building there.

Easy. 43 Rogue (now 44 from about turning in 6 quests) ran in, aggroed the guys on the second floor, vanished and ran up stairs. Stealthed out (you won't get detected if you jump off the stairs to the left).

Fought my way into the cove, ran into the building, bubbled, ran up the stairs, died beside the shipment , rezzed next to it. Got the shipment, bubbled and ran like hell.

Did not find a level 47 elite as mentioned, but did find a quick aggros on all in house. Needed help and finished easily. Combine this with Pirate Hats and Southsea Shakedown for a good amount of XP. Got 3900 XP at lvl 44.

Upon entering the walled-in camp, turn right and enter that building. Top floor, examine the boxes.

Very very easy quest for a rogue, I was expecting to have to fight something but no, stealthed past all the mobs and found none in the room with the cargo, so no aggro when I looted it :-)

One or two of the mobs on the way up may not be too easy to stealth past for lower levels but as a lvl 44 with 5 points in master of deception and nightscape boos I had no trouble at all.

Beat it as 43 hunter. Very very easy, even for a nub. Stick two on your pet, chuck down a freeze trap, pick both on your pet off while letting the other one hit you, then proceed to wtfpwn the third.

This quest was extreamly easy as a 43 undead shadow priest, didnt even come close to dying, didnt even have to pot. Hardest part is taking the 3 pirates on the 2nd floor.

The entrance to the Cove is at 68.41 (on cosmos). Its best to do this quest together with Pirate Hats Ahoy! (Pirate Hats Ahoy! and Southsea Shakedown (Southsea Shakedown you enter the walled area of the town, make a right and go into the first large building. For me, at least, the shipment was on the top floor. There's 3 pirates on the first and second floors, and no one on the third. For the first two floors, you're going to have to fight two level 44-45s at a time.

If you die on the first floor of the 2-story building with stoley's shipment (the shipment is in the second story), walk your ghost up to the second floor. When I went there, it was empty, but I could accept resurection on the second floor. Just res, pick up the shipment, and hearthstone out of there.

I finished this quest today as a L43 warlock. The shipment was in the largest building, at the top floor, a great bunch of stacks of boxes. What I did was soulstone myself and run like mad. Got to the top floor and was killed. Waited and res'd. Got the shipment and HS'd out. Not too bad overall. Gained 3900 experience as stated before.

Stoley's Shipment takes place in the Lost Rigger Cove (around 74, 46). To reach this cove, travel down the east coast of Tanaris where you will a find a small tunnel (68.5, 41.4) that leads to the cove.

To complete this quest, you must loot Stoley's Shipment, located inside some boxes of Stolen Cargo atop a two-storied building (72.6, 46.8) inside the Cove.

Alongside Stoley's Shipment, you may also wish to complete the following;

Most of these quests require you to kill a massive amount of pirates, so it might be wise to group up for these quests, and complete Stoley's Shipment along the way. This is especially pertinent considering how many of these pirates are defending the Stolen Cargo, and the route leading to it.

I owe "Sea Wolf" MacKinley in Booty Bay some rum, to settle a bet, but I'm all out of rum! Captain Cuergo stole my last shipment, and he has it stowed in that walled pirate town to the south.

If you can find my shipment of rum and return it to me, then I can prove to MacKinley that Kalimdor's booze beats the dirt out of Booty Bay!
