These are pretty easy to find in large, gray ... refrigerator-sized (for lack of a better description) robotic boxes. You'll find them easily along your path. The biggest concern is finding enough of them to complete the quest for an entire party needing them.

This quest is pretty self-explainatory, but if anyone's having trouble: There are a series of machines spread out around Gnomeregan. I believe they are found only int he isntance though I could be wrong. Just get the essential artificials from the machines. If you're doing the quest with a party it can get annoying as the machines disappear after one use.

This is pretty simple. There are some noisy crate thingies along the walls...right click them and collect the artificial. 12 comes fast. :)

This is a pretty simple quest, provided you can sneak around in Gnomeregan.

Basically look for the noisy boxes against the walls (inside the instance), and just "use" them. They tend to respawn in the same area, so you may even be able to sneak into the zone, find a single box, and camp it till you get your 12.

Decent pay, too.

Some notes about this quest:

The highest concentration I found were the loop around Electrocutioner 6000 and Crowd Pummeler 9-60. Most groups don't fully clear those loops.
If everyone in your group has this quest, merely clearing enough trash to kill the bosses is not going to let you complete the quest. You'll need multiple runs or to clear extra trash.
Going through the side/back entrance (where mobs are lv 30+) is faster, but those packs can be hard to kill without a good group.
You won't encounter many of these until you get deeper into the instance. I found only 2 in the area where the green oozes are, then another 8 in the "Hall of Gears" that connects to the ooze area.
After killing literally everything from the entrance up to the dark iron dwarf hallway (which leads to last boss), all 5 of my group members had their quest complete. We didn't clear that hall because it was all orange to us.

A nigh-universal mechanical component--the essential artificial--was of great use to the tinkers and smiths of Gnomeregan. But during the frantic exodus from our city, no one remembered to take any of these devices with them! And I need a large supply of them for work I will soon undertake.

Please, go into Gnomeregan and get me some essential artificials. You'll find them in the deeper areas of our city, held in containers called artificial extrapolators.
