Is there any pre quest to obtain that one?

There is no actual prequest - however you do have to have completed the final boss in Uldaman as this is where you get the discs to start with . . . I think

a get the discs of norgannon at the boss of Uldaman, the quest if very easy as you dont even have to kill one of the giants and you get 2g for it

I did the final boss
but for some reason i can't even talk to him :|

you don't just beat the last boss and get this. You kinda missed it and have to redo Uldaman now. Once you beat the last boss, the doors open and it's a treasure room. Touch the big disks and you go talk to the image next, I think, and then you get to go to IF and some nice xp later

I am so confused. I have done the Platinum discs quest in Uldaman, and I still can't get this quest. Anyone know what's wrong? little help would be much appreciated.

you can do the discs in Uldaman any time i didn't finished the necklace q

the prereq for this quest - though NOT DIRECTLY LINKED (meaning u have to finish it before) is the discs in Uldaman (which u can get after the necklase power source)

High Explorer Magellas DID not talk to me, untill i had the discs from Uldaman

This is an awesome quest series. At level 53 I got around 15,000 experience for just running to Uldum and back. You go to Uldum, complete a quest, pick up another quest which you complete at the pedestal moments after you pick it up, then take another quest back to IF, where you get another quest to walk 10 feet. All told, a heck of a lot of experience for very little effort. I didn't event have to fight a single one of the elite giants in front of Uldum.
