Would have been nice to have a gun/bow option as well, but we take what we can get.

If you don't need the items, The Will of the Mountain Giant 2H axe sells the best to the vendor at over 3 gold.

i completed the quest for the muiseks of the giants but now he wont let me have ne quest 2 do to get these wepons which is really frustrating all i can do is ask him about muisek

Just a note - You cannot get this quest until the Musiek quest line (Starts with "Testing the Vessel" and ends with "Mountain Giant Musiek") and the seperate "Natural Materials" quest are both finished.

Blue items would be nice, but when I completed this series of quests at level 42/43, the second to the last quest got me 4700 exp, and this quest, just where he gives you the weapon, also gave me 4700 exp.

Now that is level based, but for everyone, the 2 handed axe sells for over 3g to a vendor. Thats not too shabby.

This series of quest is a good way to increase your reputation with darkspear trolls. Recommended.

So I completed this quest and I got NO reward for it. I don't know if there was a glitch, but I'm kinda PO'd about it. Unless he gives me the weapon choice after I hit 50. I dunno. I have a better weapon, but it'd be nice to at least have the reward for doing that pain in the behind quest. :|

yep, but it's way to much hassle for it. blues would be more appropriate imo.

For those moaning about the rewards think of it this way; yes, you already have better gear from instance runs - just pick the 2H Axe and vendor it for 3G

I just finished Mountain Giant Muisek, but i couldn't get this quest.
Is there an other prereq?

Edit: After I finished Natural Materials I could do this quest.

In the end of the double chainer quest there is some good rep, exp, and coinage at the end. Not bad if your already just grinding off those mobs in the first place. Hippos are great for completing the Natural Materials and good leather farming. Not too hard and never having to wait for them to respawn.

Don't be disappointed by the rewards - think of the chain as a good way of getting a lot of XP. Because that's the only thing it is.

Every single reward from this chain is bad for its level, with much better alternatives.

But hey, the items get buffed to blue in WotLK. :)

SOD:
Mountain Giant Muisek, and Natural Materials are required to unlock Weapons of Spirit.
For those following any Phase 2 gearing guides (Shaman, for me):
Force of the Hippogryph is a main hand weapon.
Axe of the Ebon Drake is a main hand weapon. So, don't do both in the hopes of dual wielding... rip

Mountain Giant Muisek giants Can be done with Zapped Giants BUT it's not available until level 45. So, Phase 3 it is.
