The Tear of Tilloa is at Manor Mistmantle, north of Duskshire. It's a small bundle of flowers in the fenced-in area next to Stalvan's house; it might be a bit hard to spot.

The Musquash Root is by the lake with a small island in the middle, straight east of Dun Algaz on the map. There's a small cave with Dark Iron Insurgents in it; the root is to the left of this cave between two waterfalls. It looks like a spiky thing poking out of the ground.

After you take the brew to the Noble, if you go back to the basement of the Slaughtered Lamb, there is a man with an Imp next to him. If you talk to the imp you get a new hat, called a Dread Mage Hat. It's a warlock only hat and requires level 35 to equip, but it's neat!

This quest seems like it's hard, but unlike up above, there is no Battle of Warsong Gulch, and no Badlands regent run, quite easy, the root is easy because there is a 22 crocodile, but the root is kind of hard, but do it at 26 at least, there is only 1 corrupted ghoul-like thing, from 27-29 that you have to fight both easy to find, just search for each individual item and its a easy quest

He is Located at the back of the slaughtered lamb by the warlock trainers in Stormwind's Mage District.

lol...when the quest said beneath the stonewrought dam, i checked right below that dam. its the 3rd waterfall down, all the way into the wetlands, if you're comin from that direction.

its in the Wetlands, on your map you see where water ends far south and splits into 3 bodies of water its on the one nearest to the croc camp in between two waterfalls on the side. Looks like a big root sticking out of the ground cosmo loc 64, 75 wetlands

First you go to Darkshire, then you had North and continue out of town for a small distance. Along the road on the right side is a road, go ahead and venture down it. It will lead to Manor Mistmantle. To find the flower look on the North side of the house, there is a garden and the flower is in the middle of it.

The Tear of Tilloa is guarded by several level 30 ghouls. You can't do this alone at lvl 25, get some help. These guys aggro fast.

Don't aggro Stalvan (unless you need to kill him for the quest). He is a lvl 35 elite and uber hard to kill, probably need 3-4 lvl 25-35 to bring him down without a wipe.

Do all the Stalvan quests (series starts with Madame Eva in darkshire) (up the point you have to kill him) and then go for the tear, kill 2 birds with one stone. Read up on the Stalvan quests in thottbot so you are prepared. After you pick up some letters, you have to kill a ghost, and she sheeps and fears you each time. Pets are good for this series (you pet will wail on the ghost while you are sheeped).

The root is at the bottem sticking out at the 3rd waterfall (of the rocks.
O ya if you jump lol make sure you jump on the side or something it will kill you lol.

65,75 are the correct coordinates. As stated, its between 2 flows at the bottom of the waterfall.

I turned the quest in @ the mage quarter. Now its telling me i need to go to Hall of Petitioners. Anyone know where that is?

Ok... did this in less than 20 minutes, lvl 27.
This quest is easy if you are a Warlock, if you're not, don't do this quest ;) It'd be nonsense.

The coords are:
78,35 in Duskwood
and
64,75 in Wetlands

In Duskwood just get to the little fenced garden, use your pet to occupy the two zombies while you get the flower and use sacrifice to get away.

Wetlands practically works the same only the mobs are not as dangerous.

Don't forget to make stormwind your "home" first, so you have an easy way back from the wetlands.

If you're a lvl 26/27 Warlock and you can't do this you should think about changing class.

I knew the stonewrought dam was north of Thelsamar, so I decided to fly there, ran to the dam and jumped off the ledge. Bad idea! I died, and my spirit ended up deep in the wetlands. Ran all the way south to my corpse ... it was too high to get to. Ran all the way back to the ghost at the graveyard, resurrected, ran all the way back to the base of the waterfall, found the root. Got attacked by a lvl 21 croc. No prob, I though. Still had rez sickness. Died again. Rezzed again.

LOL ... not my favorite quest.

Made the same mistake took a dive off the dam, died not surprisingly, ran (wisped) from wetlands back round dam to res, died again trying to reach bottom of 2nd waterfall. top tips walkround it'll be quicker in the long run!

I am a lvl 33 Warlock, completed the quest, turned it and DID NOT get the hat! :(

Did the part where you have to get the Tear of Tilloa at level 25, no problem. Just walked round the back of the little house and stood where I had a clear view of the garden. One level 30 undead was wandering around in the actual garden (a few more where around the rest of the area), so sent the Voidwalker in to draw its attention. Then I ran around behind it, grabbed the flower and ran away lol. Used Sacrifice while running so the Voidwalker didn't drag all the enemies after me.

you hand in the quest on cords: 26.78 and if oyu don't have the cords you find him in the Mage Quarter, it also where the Q starts !

Ok I dont know if this has been posted yet, but I found it easier to go from the Gryphon master and head east... Climb the hill and you should be able to see the Mismantle Manor. Go the the right side of this house (from this direction) and you should see the fenced in area.... Flower is in the middle.

attained at lvl 25, got the Tear of Tilloa by going around edge of wall by Manor and didn't get aggro looting it and the root was real easy too. Hardest part really was the travel time.

Got both the Musquash Root and the Tear of Tilloa okay! Went back to Stormwind to hand in the items, 'chatted' to Zardeth the Claw BUT the 'Continue button was greyed out! I'm a lvl 28 Warlock - so I'm in the required lvl bracket! So what gives! Anyone having the same troubles?

I took them out one at a time, then another Warlock showed up ... argh ... but, turns out that multiple locks can "loot" the tear at the same time. So, we were both able to collect the tear while our voidwalkers distracted the spawning undead and then we finished them off and ran to town.

Tear of Tilloa can be found in Duskwood just north of Darkshire at Manor Mistmantle. It is in the center of the garden next to the house. This area is crawling with Fetid Corpse and Stalvan Mistmantle is in the house. After a few deaths, I resurected near the garden, summoned a voidwalker and had him distract a mob while I looted the flower and ran out of there.

Facing Stalvan house. The tear is in the field looking area just behind and to the left of the house. It's a small "fluffy" looking ground spawn inside he filed (within the fences).

The root is not, as the quest suggests, right at the base of the dam. My first thought was to use a soulstone and jump off the dam itself, resurrecting at the bottom and looking for the root which, needless to say, went poorly. The root is actually in wetlands at the base of the waterfall near the dam, and looks like a wooden spike protruding from the ground.

The Tear of Tilloa is especially hard to find in WoW Classic if your graphics are turned up, as they're much shorter than the surrounding brush. Turn your graphics down to 3 and look for a small white bundle close to the ground.

The root looks like a tall, upside down brown cone between the two waterfalls.

The flower doesn't stand out, sparkle, or any other "Here I am!" notices. Just a small, grayish flower in the field. (For those who play normal WoW, it looks like the face of the sun flower pet, only much smaller.)

Found at 78 35, it's a small white flower. Can be a bit of a pain to find as it's in among the grass.

For anyone doing this in classic, the Tear of Tilloa looks like a tiny bundle of white flowers (daises?) it's very easy to miss.

If you don't have coordinates go to the small house to the north of Darkshire called Manor Mistmantle, to the east side of the house is a small fenced area crawling with level 29-30 mobs, the Tear of Tilloa spawns pretty much in the centre of the fenced off area, you might need to zoom in a little to see it.

The Musquash Root is in Wetlands, at the river between Grim Batol and Dun Algaz at the base of a huge waterfall. the root looks like a big thorn sticking out of the ground, it's much easier to spot than the Tear.

Don't get the bright idea to jump off the damn and take the waterfall route from Loch Modan. The fall will kill you more than once. Don't do it.

Walk up the mountains straight from town. 2 zombies in field. Kite them to the town guards. Then keep a wiiiide berth from Stalvan's hut or he will aggro. Loot from max range and you're good.
no killing lvl 30s required.

Lord Wishock is causing quite a stir amongst the House of Nobles. He was made aware of our little "establishment" down here and is lobbying for a full investigation. I have a plan to keep Wishock "preoccupied," but I'll need your help.

There is a flower growing in the Garden of Stalvan on the outskirts of Darkshire. This small white flower is known as the Tear of Tilloa. I will also need a Musquash Root, found only at the very base of the falls far beneath the Stonewrought Dam in the Wetlands.
