I found all the ogres and magi I needed on the west side of the mountain. There were plenty of brutes in the northern cave.

For those that like coords, I found them starting at: 84.0,53.9

I wiped the cave out 4 or 5 times, but I still need 3 brutes.
For those without coordinates, there are usually 2 ogres on the path, a bit north of them is the entrance to the cave.
Easy single pull. One ogre is usually on patrol.
Was lvl 53 hunter, whne I went there.

The enterence is at 76,47 and the brutes are rare spawn of the ogres...

After killing two brutes at Prev. Post go straight it will the path will curve around and there is another cave, Brutes Galore in there :) Happy hunting, since I finished quest will not be back to this thread.

There are many entrances. The best entrance where the ogres are the most managable is located at 76,47.

Brutes are the rare spawn but if you keep circling in there you'll get everything.

Got all my kills inside the cave at 77,47. There were plenty there to finish the quest, and they dropped Runecloth once in a while, so it was pretty nice.

2 Brute appeared everytime I cleared the cave completely. Took about 20 minutes to get all the kills. For the most part you don't have to worry about pulling or aggro or anything. You attack one, and it takes a while before the one right next to it cares.

Lvl 54 BM Hunter. Easy.

there are differnt caves with different types of ogres... make sure to check out the brute vs mage vs regular ogre areas..

Great info! How about someone post where the orcs ARE. No one cares what level you were. Most people wouldn't be looking here if they didn't have the quest already.

The loc is about 84,47 (Dreadmaul Rock) just walk around the mountain and you will find all of them

Problem here. there are no where near 15 fire gut mages in the area. Tons of bruted and ogres, but I have killed 1 mage in the past hour! Need more NPC spawn or I'll be skipping this chain on future alts.
EDIT. Finally got the 5 I needed to complete. Seems when you kill orges and brutes they can respawn as 1 of the 3.. mage, ogre or brute. So I just sat in one spot killing 3 until I had my 5. Took 45 minutes. IMO.. WAY! to long to kill 5 quest mobs!

Pet classes just be mindful that the Firegut Brutes will at some point drop aggro on your pet during the fight.
