its there but u have to speak to him before u take the quest shimmer stout. and pilot bellowfiz gives it too.

This quest is in the retail release, I just completed it. The trick is that it's only available after you finish The Perfect Stout. The problem is that the quest giver for Rejold's New Brew is Tharek Blackstone, who's in Kharanos. The other problem is that right after you complete The Perfect Stout in Brewnall Village, you are asked to do Shimmer Stout.

Rejold's New Brew directly leads to Shimmer Stout, so if you accept Shimmer Stout upon completing The Perfect Stout (as presumably most people do) you won't be offered Rejold's New Brew.

So, if you really want to do Rejold's New Brew, you must do the following:

1. Complete The Perfect Stout in Brewnall Village.

2. Decline the offer to start Shimmering Stout (in Brewnall Village).

3. Head to Kharanos and talk to Tharek Blackstone. He's right outside of the blacksmithing building.

Tharek will offer you Rejold's New Brew, then you can head back to Brewnall Village whereupon Rejold's New Brew will lead automatically to Shimmering Stout.

It's a tricky sequence, but to get this quest you hvae to turn down Shimmer Stout which is offered upon completing The Perfect Stout. Then you have to go to Kharanos and talk to Tharek (who's right outside the blacksmithing building) and obtain this quest.

If you accept Shimmer Stout before taking this, you'll never be offered this quest because it's a prerequisite for Shimmer Stout.

So the proper quest order is:

1. The Perfect Stout (Brewnall Village)
2. Rejold's New Brew (Kharanos)
3. Shimmering Stout (Brewnall Village)

Just found out that this quest can also be obtained from Pilot Bellowfiz at Steelgrill's Depot. Not sure if this was an addition with Classic release or something missed from pre-cataclysm revamp.

I still had Shimmer Stout when I saw this thread. I abandoned the quest and was able to get the quest Rejold's New Brew. After completion I was then able to get the quest Shimmer Stout.
