Not a hard quest, you need to go into the cave and watch out for patrols. Kill every worgen on your way. Grimson is at the end of the cave, the guards are pullable without getting Grimson's aggro.

Entrance is at 56, 46. Lots of mobs in close proximity so you might be wise to go in a party of 2 unless you are really sure of yourself.

I soloed this as a lvl 13 Mage. You just have to be careful and mind the adds. Not that hard, you might have to deal with 2 mobs at once, if you can handle that, you can solo this mission.

The mine is Southeast of sepulcher, go up the hill, into the mine, and grimmson is in the very back of the mine.

Ez solo quest for lvl 14 undead priest. I've used a healing potion in the mine but that's it. Coord are 56,45. south east of sepulcher. Enjoy!

It is a bit tough by your self, but go slow and take on 1 at a time you should be fine.
The mine entrance is at 56,45 but the skull is at held at 58,45 inside the mine shaft.
very difficult getting out, all re gen.

it was sooooo easy till i killed the guy,i looted his head,started drinking some water(i'm a mage) and as soon as i started 2 of the mobs i'd killed about 30secs ago respawned right on top of me,and i had no mana.i frost nova'd a group of about 5 as i was running out,but the whole place had respawned...my advice,kill the guy and hearth out quick.

i managed to finished this quest fairly easily, thanks to a few glitches. First of all, I am a level 15 undead priest, so when i first got to the mine, I shielded myself. I ran as far as i could into the mine until i died. When i was a ghost, i got to the mine, and ran to the back of the mine. I jumped up on the left rock right behind the boss. I clicked accept to ressurect right there. For some reason, the boss looked at me, but didnt attack me. I started attacking him, but it kept saying that he evaded it. I stopped attacking for a few seconds, and all of the sudden the boss appeared on top of me. The camera went crazy, I couldn't see, I used the tab button to target him. I managed to kill him, and steal his skull. I healed up, then shielded myself. I ran as fast as i could out of that mine. I died, again, but i ressurected as far away from the mine as possible. I then handed in the quest. I hope it works for some of you still stuck on this quest.

I tried this after just reading the first few "It's easy" replies. And it was easy, at first. But then those thing started to appear out of nowhere and I'd have 3 or 4 on me at a time! Crazy. I died and resurrected and tried again. I ended up with 4 on me at once. I swear I Feared one of them and he ran away to fetch 2 friends! I am going to take a little break and try again later.

Sneaked into the back of the mine, put evasion and started whacking the guy and another wolveman, drunk a health potion half way through, killed the boss, taken his skull, then finish his mate off, stealthed, snaked out.

It's really simple for mages aswell...
I soloed it with my mage at lvl 11.
You only have to kille one at a time and when there's 2, sheep one =)

/tloc 59, 45 In that main area, there's one lvl 13 glutton and then Grimson who is lvl 15. Easy exp! :) GL

The mine is located not far from sepulcher.

follow the road out of sepulcher (located on the east side,in other words the only road). When the road splits into 2 directions (the sign says Tirisfal to the left and Ambermill,pyrewood village and Shadowfang keep to the right) ,go to the right.

follow the road until you reach another sign on the right side of the road,turn left and run into the hills,turn left again after putting 2-3 moonrage glutton,s into some serious pain and voila there it is.

I snuck in there and took out grimson and one other mob got the head, tried to leave and got attacked by 6 mobs and died, but i got the head!

The path off the main road is at 52,47 go left. Baddie on path L11-12, then just around hill on right another, same Lvl range. Another to the left then at least two on hill to mine entrance area. Five around entrance, one walking in and out of mine, L12-13.
Entrance at 56,45 (if you're blind >-< ).
Inside 3-4 L13-14's. After curve to right you will see him (L15) BUT there are four in area. Pick them off left ( will draw two! ) to right then him.
Get head and RUN straight out of mine and jump over rock and down into trees ( maybe L11 bear in area ) get to road turn right and that is it!
Granted I was wearning two blue items and using Rakzur Club (38-57 with Greater Impact +7) but two Wrath's a Moonbeam and two - three swings (except for him added an extra Wrath and swing ! )took care of all fights. Armor was 775.
Warrior, Pally, Hunter, Locks should all solo this at L17 easy.

Near boss is hard to aggro any lss than two creeps

hopefully you kept the slumber sand granted as a prize for completeing one of the earlier quests.

then just set one in slumber slaughter the other than continue on t get the rest

well i did dis quest with my lvl 20 mage.. and is your doing it to with a mage at lvl 20 just keep using your mana shield and fire balls dat helps alot. youll finish da quest in no time..

Theres a small path off the side that runs up hill, directly next to the entrance of the mine, going up this side you will have to kill 3-5 of the creatures at the begginning and then it is easier to pick them off 1 or 2 at a time. I did this as a lvl 21 warlock so the succubus might of made it easier but more or less I just meleed the entire way.

Turning left out of the Sepulcher. Makes you go...NORTH! So before you guys start calling everyone idiots and talking "Know your left and rights" make sure YOU know your left and rights. Turning left out of the sepulcher makes you go north...

Almost Directly East of Sepulcher, goto the mine over there and just kill everything in your way, the dude is at the end. Cosmos users, coordinates 58,44

i did this as an almost-19 mage. just grind your way in methodically. the mobs in the mine are spaced pretty evenly til you get to the end. then pick off the guy on the right first. i pulled three from the left and died horribly the first time i did this. pull from the right, kill him, then pull back as far as you can without losing range, and get the closest left. maybe easier as a spellcaster cos you get range... the rest is history; your quest-guy is gonna be the last one. the gluttons spawn fast, so i just hearthed. this is allegedly a level 14 quest, but i did struggle a bit. maybe my tactics just suck.

Ok we got people saying turn left and go south (left from Sepulcher is North by the way) and others saying east, which is it people?

go down the road out of the sepulchur.

turn RIGHT at the end of the road .

keep going down this road until you see a track on your LEFT .

its the very first road you come to on your LEFT as you're going down the south road. go down there then LEFT again. woo - you're at elem mine.

Ok, the respawn rate in this area is insane. Yes, the mobs are easy (lvl 14 mage), but by the time I'm actually getting to Grimson, mobs are respawning right behind me!

I died a few times. I was killing as fast as I could.
I ended up dying fighting him, but I was able to take out the "guards".
By the time I got back to my body, the mobs were starting to respawn in the cave entrance.
I had to kill them quickly. Luckily, the "guards" hadn't respawned yet and I was able to solo him.
As I was killing him, the "guards" respawned lol. I had to back up near the cave entrance as to not aggro them.

The respawn rate is pretty crazy but if you are a LW, this is the place for you. Decided to hang around for a bit after doing the quest and ended up with six stacks of light leather and a few greens.

It will indeed take me longer than I had thought to uncover the dark secrets behind the enchantments Arugal was using.

But in the meantime I need you to take care of a slight problem our Darkstalkers have discovered. It seems that Arugal let his magic spread to the Deep Elem Mine in the hills to the southeast.

The mine would prove to be quite a resource for Varimathras's advance.

I want you to behead the tainted foreman of the mine, Grimson the Pale. With his death, the mine shall be ours.
