In order to complete this quest you must kill the Emperor in BRD and not kill the Princess. This quest rewards a very good ring that can be easily used up to BWL.

the emp run isnt that hard. I did it for the first time at 54 and it was a cake walk. The worst part was the room with all the little guys respawning so quickly, but relatively easy with a good mage and healer, just move quick and AoE.

this is the caster reward, melee reward is magni's will. Good rings if you can find a group to actually stick around until emperor.

Downed the Emp, the Princess ran back to her spot, but stayed red and immediately attacked us again, forcing us to kill her or be killed. We reported the bug to a GM, who said it was a known problem, and that all they could do was apologise to me (the GM won't put you on the next part of the quest or give you the quest rewards if this happens).

I recently did the quest before this one and I never even got this quest after. All I did was turn in the other one by talking to the princess after we killed emp and got exp. Then she didnt give this quest to me at all? wtf?

sheeped the bish and it worked like a charm, she broke her sheep and went friendly when emp died, maybe blizz fixed it.

she did not however go enemy afterwards, i was afk for 10 mins or so came back and she was still friendly

you need to start it with the ruins of thaurussian, which starts in the city of ironforge, and ends with this quest, with a quest or 2 in between. Hope that helps. Also it helps a ton to have a hunter, warlock or bot with you when you do this quest as she likes to heal the emperor.

If you got loot issues with Princess Moira Bronzebeard in classic wow

To be able to loot Princess Moira Bronzebeard you need to have her quest chain completed.
If only one party memeber completed the quest, you can kill Princess Moira Bronzebeard for loot, but only that one guy will be able to loot her.
Loot from Princess Moira Bronzebeard won't be tradable, because loot trade in classic is only in 40man raids.
If one player got loot, customer support won't help with loot swaps to another player, as this is working as intended.

So if you want her loot, make sure to complete her quest chain.

Background lore (spoilers ahead):
She is thought to have been kidnapped, but in reality she is in love with Emperor Dagran Thaurissan

You wander into Blackrock Depths to save her. After you kill her husband she reveals to you that she has his child and that she was in love with him.

Her last words when you complete the quest as Alliance:

Thaurissan was a great and honorable dwarf. You ruined my life and the life of my unborn child!

<You think that Princess Bronzebeard may still be suffering from the residual effect of the Emperor's spell.>

Return to Ironforge and tell my father that the heir to the Kingdom of Ironforge will be a Dark Iron dwarf.

Whether he approves or not, it shall be.

Her last words when you complete the quest as HORDE:

You have slain my husband, <race>! My child will be born into this world without a father.

<Princess Moira points directly at you.>

I assure you, this child will be the next ruler of the kingdom of Ironforge. You and your kind shall be hunted down until the end of days for this wrongful act.

<You think that Princess Moira may be suffering from the residual effect of Thaurissan's spell.>

Leave me be, <race>. I am certain your warchief will be eager to hear the results of his meddling.

one of the most memorable and sad quests I been through, made beautifully.

It is implied that the princess was under a spell (and as there is another quest in BRD about love potions this might be common practice there) so Emperor Thaurissan laid her and made a child with her against her will. Very NTR-like story.

However I think there can be another narrative where the princess really fell into this forbidden love and her father knew and didn't want to accept it.
