Yes, confirmed that she is only reachable through the cave. In the back of the cave by a swarm of those small dragonkin there is a small circle w/ detail in the center. Run over that and you will be ported to Haleh. Talk to her & eventually she will shove you off the cliff and to the Plaguelands. Rather silly, lol...take a few screenshots while you're at it. You then need to go to Andorhal & find the named person. Be careful that you are not tabbed out at this point (like I was) because she ports you into water. I drowned, lol.

Well.. It's not too bad so long as you remove all of you armor with any durability statues before "corpse hopping" Though this process was made easier for hunts now able to set traps during battle along with "Feign Death."

Just FYI the strip-tease method of avoiding repair costs for the multiple deaths strategy no longer works. When you die it damages everything in your packs too. I feel sorry for all you non-rogues who want to solo your way up to Haleh =(

Run SOUTH of Everlook, dont follow the road, once you hit an area called Mazthoril go towards the West wall, hug it and run next to it untill you find a cave (alot of blue elite dragonkins).
Just keep running deeper and deeper in to that cave.
This is really easy, all you need to do is unequipp all your gear that has any durability.
Put them in your inventory and corpse run your way in there.

Took me about 3-4 deaths, GY isn't very far away.

Once you reach a big end-room with two big elite dragons 58 and 60 (one of them is for the Test of Skulls quest, Onyxia key) you are in the right place.
The rune you need to reach is just in front of the enterance to that room, alot of small dragon whelps arround it.

Just stand on it and you will be teleported in 1 second or so.

Warning tough, once you finish the quest youre getting your ass kicked all the way to Western Plaguelands.

As of the 1.9 patch, they fixed that bug so you can't walk on steep hills anymore. That way is no longer doable.

The theory does not work any longer because of the new patch - but if you get yourself into the groove... you can still manage to jump up and talk to Haleh. Don't stress if you fall down the cress - you can still get back up. So just get yourself into the groove.. and jump up - worked for me on Frostmourne.

Well, for a priest anyway. Unless you can kill everything in the cave - bring a group - using the "rez and run" option did not work all that well. Got to the end of the cave - died 4 times - but the rune is not at all obvious, and i ran all over the place - in the 5-6 seconds i had to live after rezing each time - without so much as a hint that i might be standing in the right place. Don't waste your time - come with a group or don't come at all.

The rune is impossible to see. From what I read on Allak-- uh... some other site, look for a slight rise in the southeast corner (by the dragonkin) and walk all over it. You're better off finding the teleporter by accident rather than searching for visual cues.

Jepp's imageshack image linked way above in this thread didn't work but it got me very close.

There's no bear any more and I couldn't walk across where the bear used to be. But I went a little farther up, underneath that tree-root thing that makes an archway. You can WALK and JUMP (disable run) up the crack between the tree and the ice. I may have been mounted and ran to get myself wedged in the crack in the first place, but then I dismounted. Work your way up the crack until you're standing on top of the tree-root arch. From there its an easy walk over to haleh. As stated, she kicked me to the plaguelands where I landed in the lake, no falling damage. This is 1.10 patch.

Do NOT stand on the rune, lol. I got teleported into the cave. Fortunately I'm a druid so I quickly stealthed to save myself from the lvl 60 elite approaching.

I just did this with only one death. All you have to do is watch where you are walking so you dont aggro anything unless you absolutely have to. It is probably possible to do this with out any deaths but not with out some sort of speed increase or a preist could maybe do it with renew/sheild. Level 60 pally

The video here was a life saver! I just did it on my 20th try! I got up to her and I was sooooooo excited that I ended up stepping on the blue mark. Sadly I was ported directly under a dragon as soon as that happened and I died FAST. If you study that video you'll have it down in no time. Just an FYI it worked after the 1.10 patch. The bear isn't there like in this:

Thanks for the video, it really works! The trick is to finding the little (invisible) ledge before the second jump to Haleh. It's hiding in the shadow of the mountain, so just watch the video a couple of times (and look up if you fall down to see it in a different angle) to find it. If you need to adjust your angle or move back a bit once you hit the ledge, do it. This way is MUCH preferred to running through the cave. You'll be happy you did it.

Oh, and when I was kicked off the mountain, I landed in the lake in WPL but lost no health (& since I'm a lock...underwater breathing!). :)

It's not the fall in the lake that counts, that damages 0. When the girl kicks you, you fly in the direction she was faceing. If you stand with your back to the mountain and she's looking towards you, she will kick you to the mountain wall and you will get 0 damage from the litle fall. At least it worked for me.

I found her outside, but i cant reach her... Realy? With a very lucky jump with my Epic-Mount over the Point with the Ice-Trap on the second picture, i "climp" to her! :-)

I got this through with two deaths. First i tried to FD, but shield bash that some of the dragonkins can do made it uneffective and next time i got to the blue thing and teleported, but suddenly I teleported back in the cave and i was killed by this huge dragonkin, but this should be possible for a hunter to go through without dying.

No need to run/FD if you're a hunter, because you can easily take on the 57/58 elites one at a time if necessary. The spawns are fairly spread out so you even have some limited room to kite. The groups of whelps are easy too... I imagine that you could make quite a killing in this cave if you're a skinner.

Through a combination of sneaking and killing, I got to the back of the cave in 12 minutes and earned 4g from the dragonkin along the way. No need to risk death needlessly. :)

Pally bubble + LoH and several Clense to keep the freeze effects off and I got there with just one death. Three things to keep in mind;

1- Note the location on the minimap, its near the center of the large room, not in one of the smaller knooks to the side.
2- You WILL NOT see the symbol while dead, I ghosted in the cavern looking for it but once I rezed I found it with no problem.
3- You just have to walk on the symbol to teleport so if you get 90 mobs following your tail make as quick a run to it, you'll be safe.

Once accepting the quest she dose punt you backward so if your facing the mountian it is possiable to land and take damage (I hit a small ledge and ended up takinga whopping 104 damage but hey I'm sure it could have been worse). When accepting the quest I recomend having your back facing wide open spaces, she teleports you ontop of the lake so as long as the bug that makes you fall through water like its not there dosent bite your butt at the wrong time you dont need bubbles or feather fall or whatnot.

Try coords 53,56 in the cave. Between the two big dragons. Set back a bit in the main room all the way in the back. Recommend checking it out when you're dead.

I'm a warrior and i died twice run as far as u can die like ur going to run as far as u can then bandage up run to the blue portal talk to her as fast as u can u might die again talk to her as fast as u can health up as fast as u can and she will punt u across the continent and then carry on with the rest of the quest the cave lies at 57.50 pretty easy

The number one requirement for this is a slow fall potion, noggenfogger,etc.
I'm pretty sure you need a mount too, haven't tried it without though.
What you do is you climb up the mountain to where that root is, its the one that comes out and goes back in parrallel to the ground.

You need to get ON TOP of that root. To do so, you will need to stand facing it on the slope right next to it, only about a yard away and jump into the angle. Then make your way up.

Face the mountain Haleh is located on, use your slowfall potion, get on your mount, and do a running jump. When you get to right spot, cancel your slowfall. The spot where you fall will be on the hill she is on, but a little to the southwest. It may take 1 or two tries.

U are a pala...! yes u are! go in everlook(1st stepp) go south is the 2nd till u see some elite dragons..u will see a cave opening there also...now stepp 3.Everything u wear and has armor..put it in your inventory! And last stepp...ride in with mount like crazy deeper and deeper till u are almost dead..shield.And keep running and running..i died in the middle of the cave. Run back your corpse and wait till you shield's cooldown is over. rez and run again...do that till u reach a big room with 2elite lizard bosses roaming around...there on the floor is your mark..stepp in and u are gone. ( while you run try 2 use your stun ability to the elite dragons so u take less dmg..i also suggest u have devotion or frost resistance aura on)

Step 1:fly to everlook

Step 2:Run south till find cave with dragons guarding

Step 3:Carefully pick your path in kill as needed

Step 4:Hug walls and proced deeper into cave avoiding
much as possible again kill as needed.

Step 5:Once at room with flyers wait for scryer to move away from the rune(blue pattern on ground) once he is away run to it and stand on it,wait a sec and you will be ported to Halleh.

Step 6:Talk to Halleh with your back to the mountain

Step 7:Get kicked into mountain taking min damage hover for a sec(buff effect from being kicked) land and be again will be ported this time to western plaguelands and will land in water near cear darrow.

Step 8:Continue on with next quest in series

Was able to do in under 30min solo made a couple gold from kills and did not die. Caster type go down fairly easily while the tank types pack a punch.

Video from above still works. I have a slo-mo undead horse with carrot on a stick and spurs, so if I can do it, anyone should be able to. Takes a few tries to get it right. The first jump is the easiest, and you will know that you are in the right spot when you land it. The second hop you have to play around with.

as for rogues u will not come across any easier Quest. Upon getting near to the cave stealth to the cave, and all way to the end of cave where right in the middle is a blue area ...step on it while still stealthed and u will find ur self on a mountain looking at another quest giver. Take the quests and the final one ....when u accept that u will find taking a flight to the plaguelands(WPL)..rather cool.

Solo-ed the quest (strip the gear and died as required). Found the blue ring / rune, actually easy to see on the white snow. Stepped on it, ported to that woman on the hill (why do people bother about jumping to her etc?). But then something weird happened, I was ported straight back into the cave, onto the rune.
Clicked the thing again - up the mountain - immedeatly down again. 4 times (once on top of dragon = death).
Last time it work, ported up and ran straight to her. No idea what that was. Anyone else has had the same?

Oh, btw, she then teleported me to the Lake in WPL, no damage whatsoever

... I dismounted after reaching her (via the no dragons way :D) and it sent me into Scryer's cave (and no, I wasn't standing on the rune next to her when I did it). Luckily, standing on the rune before Scryer tore me to shreds brought me back to where she was.

The groups of 3x dragonlings I actually found to be a bit more of a pain � your choice. Take the left fork.

The cave entrance is at 57,50. The rune is at 52,56 in the cave. I never saw it till I stepped on it (even with my graphics turned up).The rune is in a blue lit patch on the ground next to 3 dragonlings � between the 2 elite dragons.

You don�t have to fight the elite dragons � just avoid their agro by hugging the wall. You can time fighting the 3x dragonlings with the 60 elite dragon that pats. Then run to the wall in the vestibule and wait for it to turn around. It will look like it is going to come really close and agro, coming right at you, but it doesn�t. Run out and kill the 3x dragonlings to the right. Then walk around the blue area till you step on the rune (or run back and wait for another pat then do this).

I took off all my gear just to be safe, and still could fight the 3x dragonlings (as a Lock � VW is better for this than Felguard).

The quest giver at the top does kick/port you to EPL. I dropped in the water and took a couple hundred damage. No big deal.

there was no teleporter that I could see, not in the save, not with Haleh.

After 20 minutes of looking I decided to do a death run & look around in spirit form so I gathered 2 groups of dragons & as I was running to the 3rd group, the computer froze for a second & I was teleported up.

When it froze, I looked around my character but there was NO teleport run to be seen, nothing.

It was just infront of the group of dragons at the north west part of the room.

Climbing does work as of 1.10.2. I don't get how complicated the person who posted screenshots made it. It's very easy; I have a +60% mount and when I reached the tree branch, facing the target, I ran and jumped. Once I landed on the side with the target, I pressed jumped several times and I got onto that side.

priests can run in, shield, and dispell the movement speed decrease, get to safety, drink for mana, and continue on to portal by doing this, follow the left wall all the way in for best results

If you can't see a rune on the ground, look in Video Options and turn the Spell Detail Level slider up. The runes are invisible when the settings are at low. This happens with a quest involving teleport runes on the ground in Blasted Lands as well.

Did the cave w/ my 60 Paly & help from a 60 Mage. We snuck around most the dragonkin, took out a couple whelp groups, & an accasional patrol. We did die 1 time, but wasn't a problem. Hardest part was seeing the mark on the ground. After that, she highkicked me up against the frozen cliff & I was ported to WPL & died by drowning from lag.

Took me 5 deaths and more than 2 hours of either trying to climp up to her or fight my way through... and when i finally found it, i was going in the bad way, so I run off the cliff.

Need to step on a portal in the back of a cave, not on map but if you follow the road that leads west you find the elite dragons and in the second to last area in the back of the cave between the 2 sets of 3 dragonkin is the blue symbol that you stand on for 2 seconds and get ported to Haleh.

unless you want to do this with a group and kill all the dragons just strip down and run naked cuase you'll die alot... the port is in a room with a big flying dragon... go stand on the port it take like two seconds do work and you should be ported to a night elf chic at the top of mountian.. talk to her :D

to get off the mountian she flys you off the mountian then you are ported to west plaguelands it's fun to fly should be no damage... you land in water so you might die if you comp takes too long to load :S

as first comment from Philarian says you have to go through the cave with this elite dragons. Also the questlog says you have to go through this cave. If you can't sneak like rogues and druids look for an group(can't be so difficult because you cant get this quest solo! Or how you get this quest!) And when you have a good group(/raid if needed) fight through the cave until you reach this blue rune, step onto it and you stand beside Haleh. Every thing with climbing and jumping isn't the right way how Blizzard made it! Do it together with your friends or sneak other possibilities are waste of time! I did it as an 60 druid: sneak and fight (it's much easier than UBRS!)

Haleh herself is located at 54,51 for those interested. Very easy to mountain climb it as of the 1.8 patch. I hear the 1.9 patch is suppose to fix the mountain climbing exploit, though. For now you can avoid the cave and teleporter, though.

I'm a 60 Pally. I fought a couple of elites at the beginning. Then, I used a trinket I had for 10-sec invisibility that got me past 3 more. Then, I was detected. I popped my shield and started running. When that wore off, I hit myself with blessing of protection. When that wore off, I was being chased by 2 or 3 elites and some of those flying welps. I barely managed to get away, but I went into that big cubby hole where the big dragon flys in and out. Staying in the corner, the big dragon never saw me. I rested up and waited for him to fly out. Then, I just ran to the blue thing on the floor. Quest done and no death... UNTIL....I finished talking with Haleh. When she kicked me to WPL, I landed dead in that lake by Scholo.

spoke with haleh and got rocketed away, gained feather fall somehow and the screen started to load as if i was changing zone....i was. i died from 3300 hp fall at the bottom of darrowmere lake in western plaguelands...

i just did it and it worked great... but i had to do it on my 2nd try because apparently when you step and/or click on the blue design circle thing by Haleh, it takes you right into the heart of the dragonkin cave... so thats where I ended up and needless to say, I got owned

I just tried this and was ported to the side of the mountain where I fell for a few hundred damage. I don't know if the teleport is bugged or what, but I wasn't able to talk to him.

I love being able to climb to the top without going through the cave... it is pretty hard to explain though.

I went in here with a group, they all managed to teleport and abandon me, and I couldn't find the portal anywhere! They told me it was some 'blue circles on the floor' but I couldn't see anything like that anywhere. I eventually randomly wandered onto an area of shadow on the floor, which teleported me. I dunno if that was my PC or what, but t'was strange.

A solo warlock with the toughened VW pet through Demonology can get to the last room where the teleporter is without kamikaze.

Use Curse of Doom on the melee elites and refresh Corruption and Immolate until the mob is down to a third or less--CoD does the rest. In between each round of DoTs, cast a Health Funnel to keep the VW up. Slow but easy as pie. The casters have far fewer HP, and can be dropped with repeated rounds of DoTs using Curse of Agony in place of Doom. They nuke for around 400. Be very alert for pathing elites, as they will ruin your day fast. If you've gotten to the area where the tunnel splits into two channels, you can run down the empty side (left) to help get away from an add if you screw up. At 60, you have a fair amount of aggro radius to work with, and can even go around elites in the wider areas of the tunnel.

Doom is great for putting off aggro while still getting in a large chunk of damage. Watch out for the possible Dreadguard spawn after CoD goes off, keep enough mana and HP to stay alive through a short fight. They aren't that tough, being non-elite.

The groups of three non-elite flappies are simple as well. Send in the VW, pick one off of him, DoT and nuke it until dead. Repeat x3, and heal VW as needed.

You can pull all the way to the back room using this technique. Make sure you keep a steady pace to avoid respawn, or sit in one place and kill a respawn if you need a break. It takes a long time, but it's good solo practice.

Once you get to the big room, the teleport is actually in the room, not in one of the small side protuberances, and is sort've off-center to the southeast on a rise. It's hard to see with the Eye of Kilrogg. There are two large dragons flying around in here, Manaclaw and Scryer. Both will own you if they see you. Sacrificing the VW and running to the teleporter would be a good idea at this point, avoiding the pathers, and keep a finger on the Healthstone if you attract attention from the big guys. They hit hard and fast.

Step 1: Got buck nekkid.
Step 2: Ran as far into cave as possible.
Step 3: Got attacked by lots of elites.
Step 4: Kept running 'til I died.
Step 5: Ran back to my corpse and rezzed.
Step 6: Repeated as necessary until I got to the blue rune.

Note: You do not drown when you land in WPL. The landing just uses all of your hitpoints. Equipping Hydrocane before Haleh's boot to the head did not save my ass. So remain nekkid until after you recover your corpse from the lake.

The full chain (if you take the ride to wpl and get up to the catalogue) is worth 8.75g at level 60, so if you're not a mail/plate user and can get through the cave it's still worth it.

Particularly if you were on the brink of getting your epic mount like I was :p

I never got around to doing it before 1.9 so when i read that they fixed it i was...disgruntled...but me being me, i decided to check it out. Sure enough you can no longer cliff walk to her. Then I noticed that isn't much of a gap, it seemed about the size of the gap that is in IF between the Ah and Bank, maybe just a little bigger. Looking at the slope and everything I wondered if i could maybe jump it. So i tried over and over and finially prevailed;) I'm a 60 pally with my epic mount and since 1.9 came out we can get the ability to increase running and mount speed...then i add the carrot trinket and went for it. Took me about 15 trys but i finially got it! So you can still take the back way but you have to have an epic mount and some sort of spurs and/or trinkets, FYI i didn't have any spurs, so maybe if you have that it will make up for the talent skills that the pallies now have. I did this as 59 Priest, As I failed to do the jump I got 2 invisibility potions perior to it. Just drink one before the entrance, 18 seconds are enough to get u in the middle of the cave, die once, rez and drink the other then u reach the teleport circle.

Yes, the cliff walk does work. Just did it tonight. Thanks for the video! Lvl 59 NE druid. Yeah, I could have stealthed but it was a challenge to see if I could go up the cliff. Too bad I don't need the quest rewards from the chain.

follow those directions, but in the end is doesn't look that way so i will try to explaine how i did.

At the end where that guy "cliff-walks" just try to jump from the left side as far Up as possible (with %60 mount) if your'e lucky u land on the side of the right side of the gap, not far up enough so you simply can just walk up. But instead dismount and here comes the tricky part
: Once standing On the right side of the gap it very hard to make a small run and then jump cuz when you move you fall a few cm making it impossible to jump. BUT if you still can make a small run and jump, facing down a bit, you can land on the top of the right side of the if you are very lucky, like i was...

It worked for me

I found it as a glowing blue rune on the floor, just about where USSEnterprise above said. Happened to notice it because one of the big bastards flew over it and I saw the glow in the shadow. On the minimap, there's an area shaded blue, the rune is in that area.

Just to let you guys know, the teleporter is a blue patch that you walk over in the last room. The big dragon, Scryer, flys right over it

I was able to sneak through whole cave at 60 and not even using my Gnomish Cloaking Device, The 60 elite (scyen or something) will wander into another room and you can easily get to the rune.

Since I couldn't seem to do it dallton's way, and after countless attempts and playing around with the terrain, I figured out that jumping onto the ledge did well rather then wallwalking which didn't work for me.

The teleport rune is in the same cave (indeed, in the same room) as Scryer, who is one of the dragons Horde characters need to kill to get their Onyxia key. It makes sense to do the two quests together.....

Okay, guys, here it is:

(Notice, the bear in this picture is a pet, and used for reference where you are walking to)

1) In winterspring, go around the elite dragonspawn and up above on the mountain. Her location is 54, 51. If you climb around you will eventually see her on your mini-map, but you will be unable to reach her.

2) As seen in the pics provided, you will rap around a big tree and come up to a snow wall that has a little groove in it. You need to climb up the wall into the little groove.

3) Hit "/" to change to walk-mode. If you are facing the mountain, you need to turn to the right until you are facing the correct direction as seen in image 3, 4 and 5.

4) Now, auto walk straight up the ledge to where the bear is in the picture. Do not use your directional keys or mouse to steer, JUST AUTOWALK without hitting anything else.

5) Once you make it up top, you will see her. DO NOT TOUCH the blue teleporter on the ground. You will die by dragon claws.

6) Once you complete quest, she will uppercut your ass into W Plaguelands below Anderhol. This is not a joke. You should land in the water and be safe. However, the next quest part is to talk to someone in the inn in Anderhol, so this helps :)

It may take 10 or so tries, but you will make it if you follow this.

when ur in the cave the cordinates for the teleport ur looking for is 52,55. Lower left side of the end of the cave.

As of 10/18/19, WoW Classic, you can still get to her via the alternate route. I just did it on my mount.

Upon the icy floors of Mazthoril you will find cobalt runes. Hold one of my scales and stand upon a rune and you shall be transported to Haleh, our matron protectorate.

Give her the scale so that she may scry what it is I have seen and felt, here in this doomed place.
