I found the spirit saw that i was supposed to be able to speak to her but could not. I equipped the crystal, it drained my health, killed me, I returned ressurected then I could speak to her. I don't know if this is just a bug for me or if it will happen again. Just FYI

You don't equip the item just talk to the spirit.

what are you sopose to do when you accidently click on the crystal and it is now a buff that keeps killing you and you cant get rid of it

When you talk to highborne spirit behind the building, you see yellow ? above her head.
After talking you can leave the place safe for some time. Alle spirits around you are suddenly green for 20 seconds or so, so you can walk easy and safe away without aggro risk :)

Equip is not needed. Just talk.

this is wrong to say it leads to the crystal of zin-malor it really leads to "remorseful highborne" speak with Wynd Nightchaser in Starfall village Winterspring

Please take the Crystal of Zin-Malor back to Lake Kel'Theril. You must find a highborne spirit that realizes the error of what was done so long ago. Show the spirit that we have made things right again.
