i'm not able to get the quest. i sent a ticket to a GM thinking about a bug, but the GM said that i have to do something in order to get the quest.

any idea?

all my mate got this quest with no problem. what am i missing?

Yeah get the Quest called "Collection of the Corrupt Water" in Felwood located 51,82 at the Emerald Sanctuary. Hand it in and you will get "To Winterspring".

Most likely it's more the level of your character. I did not complete the before-mentioned quest, but got the quest right away, at about lvl 54.

Is this quest soloable as a Level 53 Hunter?

If you look, there are two quests that start the series. If you have then you cant get and vice versa.

I Can't get the Quest Starfall and I have already done that quest with the currupted water...

am I missing something?

Ok, I'm using QuestHistory and noticed that I had abandoned this quest at some point -- so dropped by to see Daryn Lightwind (Teldrassil:55,92) when passing through Rut'theran.

Unfortunately, she ain't giving it up. No exclamation mark(!)... no comment bubble. Nothing.

However, I figure I may no longer be eligible for the quest since I've already been to Winterspring -- at some point after abandoning the original quest, but before now.

Now to head back to Winterspring, and see if I can get the next leg in the chain, from Wynd Nightchaser in Starfall. Fingers crossed.

* * Indeed * * I'm already on to the third leg of the chain (Troubled Spirits of Kel'Theril), though I haven't completed this one. Looks like this first leg isn't mandatory to get the remainder of the chain. (?)

how do i get into winterspring?

I saw the quest at lvl 53, did not get the quest. At lvl 55 i tried to get the quest and she is not offering it. Maybe you can only get this at lvl 53 or 54.
If this helps, i did all the quests in Fellwood.
This quest starts a chain in Winterspring :/

Wynd Nightchaser (npc you need to speak to) is located at 51.30

I am level 56 and for some reason she won't give me the quest. I have done all the other quests in felwood except the escort the ancient one.

Quest is shared with "Starfall" Starfall quest that starts in Darnasus, so if you have one you cant take other.

53 seems unnecessary high. 52 would do

Find Starfall Village in Winterspring and speak with Wynd Nightchaser.

In Winterspring, to the north of here, there are many ancient elven ruins. It's a harsh land, but it holds many secrets and places to explore.

With all my work to do here in Felwood, I have not had the opportunity to travel to Winterspring. But there's no reason why you shouldn't!

While you're there, look for Wynd Nightchaser. He spends most of his time in Starfall Village and he knows a lot about the area.
