This quest is in LBRS. The mob you have to kill is a boss, it's the frog hexxing one.

Move your way through the normal way. I had to kill max 3 packs. When a pack has a Scarshield Warlock in it, nuke the warlock first. He summons like hell.

When you arrive at the place where you have three ogres in front of a gate, go down the ledge to the right of them. Enter the room and go up the pathway straight ahead (and a bit to the left) of where you entered. The first four mobs in that room is linked. Try to pull them away from the boss, as they might pull it when they run away.

The boss herself: Just nuke.

level 58 BS 290 weaponsmith - can't get quest. Could it be because I haven't done some of the earlier BS quests?

I didn't do any of the final Mithril Quests and still can get the Quest with Lv56, BS 273
:-)

I only did the Quest that leads to Strangle. Talked with the guy in Booty and the guy north of the Oger Camp. But I never worked for any of those Mithril Plans.

The cut off is 250weaponsmithing and level 50, if I'm not mistaken. Yes finding a group for LBRS is hard. No it's not a tough instance to 5 man, and 100% absolutely positively NO WAY can you do the raid group drop out. That was a cheap way to do quests that Blizzard sagely patched. It's supposed to be tough, otherwise every Tom @#$% and Harry would be an axesmith and it would break the game.

I am lvl 54 and only 260 BS. And i got the quest. In the room where you get this quest there is a human, an undead, and a troll, each of them offer a quest. One is for plans for a sword, one for a mace, and one for the plans to Dawn's Edge. If you accept any of the three quests, the other two will become unavailable. So, if you can't get the quest, check your log and make sure you don't have either of the other two. I couldn't get it for a while, and as soon as i abandoned the one for the Blazing Rapier, the "!" popped up over Kilram's head. Hope this helps.

Just wanted to point out that there is a shortcut to get to Vosh'gajin. Right before you get to the first set of ogres (the hallway that leads to Omokk) there is a hole in the floor to your right. Looking down you will see Bijou (a questgiver, https://www.wowhead.com/classic/npc=16655). If you jump down to the ledge and follow the path out you will come to the ramps that lead down as well as across. If you go across, Vosh'gajin is in the room to your left. This should cut out a bit of killing if your only goal is to get in and complete the quest.

i started my bs at 49, and i learned all the things that prevent some people from getting the bs quests. if you started bs late lvl like me and cant see the quest symbol its becuase your lvl is higher than when you would normally do the quest so it doesnt show up but if you talk to the guy he gives you the quest. always try to talk to the guy again after you complete a quest to see if it chains becuase he wont tell you if your lvl is high. and you cant get this quest if you dont do the galvin the ancient quests and the tanaris ones with trenton lighthammer. and no you cant raid a quest. you just...cant.. hope ive helped

So Im curious... is this the quest that decides if you're an axesmith or not? That's my goal and all and don't want to mess it up. I did the weaponsmith quest in Org. Haven't been up to see if I can get this one or not. Wasn't sure if there was some other quest I need to do before trying for this one. Any help would be most appreciated.

i'm level 51.........bs 260.......i've done none of the blacksmithing quests aside from weapon smithing........i have the quest....no idea what allows you to take the quest

It is simple, when you finally figure it out.. to become an axesmith you must.. become a weaponsmith.. after you become a weaponsmith it doesn't matter your level.. you can get the quest to become a axesmith from kilram in everlook.. but the quest is an instance of 55+ give or take..

i cleared her yesterday with a group of 5 non raid and have the quest. im a lvl 60 with 295 BS but she did not drop the snakestone. do i have to be lvl 300 BS or is this a glitch from the patch?

i am a lvl 60 bs lvl 281 weaponsmith and went to kilram. he just gave me an option to talk to him and i became an axesmith...no quest no nothing...i believe it has to do something with me being an armorsmith then deleting that and starting over as a weaponsmith....anyone has any idea on what i should do? ( ive already posted 4-5 tickets but no go...in the end i recived a stupid standard blizzard letter...)Any ideas?

Ok, i'll try my best to explain where she is.
when you enter "LBRS"(NOT UBRS or BRD) you take the regular way,(to the right) then jump down so you dont have to fight them all. then when you have jumped down, down go up to the right! go down where theres 3 normal elites and one elite (with two wolfes), when your done with those. go into the next room to your left.

when you hav enter'ed the room ,some may ask if you want to take the shortcut(that mean's by jumping down to the right of you).
well that is something you DONT want to do.
Just keep on going forward. Just fight yourself the Normal way, until you come a place where theres a gate with three Ogre's!

If you now, while your looking at the ogre's, take a look at the middle of the floor(more to the right). theres a gigantic hole there! there's also a NPC there in the corner. well, jump down there. (there will also be 3-4 elite's down there. so jump down together) When you have fought those elites, you can see some stairs, and their splitting up in four different path's you can take. then if you want Vosh,Gajin. Go Straight Ahead! dont go to the right or left, just go down to the middle, and forward, up the stairs. here there will be a tight room with some enemie's!
its smartest to take those who are to the right of you then! (so get a mage or hunter, or someone to pull them) when you have taken those, there will be 3 others sitting by a table to your right! its also smart to take those out ( but you can come pass them if you hold the right) When that is done. there is a passage up to a room on the left side, a small open gate/door. go up there. and there is where you will find Shadowhunter Vosh'gajin! the first pack you will only pull 4 elite mobs(not Vosh'gajin). when your done with these, their will be 3 elites left. (two normal elites and Vosh'gajin) ( If your 5 guys, try to always get a rogue and a mage!) if you then dont got a rogue or mage, you need another warrior to tank those normal elites.. But as i said, Its the best thing to bring with u a mage and a rogue.

Name :Zcum Lvl: NE 60 warrior ( Realm :Shadowmoon) (I was lvl 60 when i took this. and i was also a skill of 175, so i could make the dawn's edge when i killed vosh'gajin) but if your a Armorsmith, you can not do this! you have to choose weaponsmith first.

I had dropped blacksmithing before xpac and releveled once xpac came out it. If you want to change from axe to sword, etc, costs 100g and doesn't require the quest. The quest is still available in case you want the recipe from quest, but not necessary.

i soloed this with my 70 warrior. i wanted the smithing plans to make the axes for my shaman. i got the quest, went to LBRS, walked through the entire instance without aggroing a single mob, and went straight to the bosses' room. cleared her room and then her in 1 try. didn't even have to pot or last stand :) so for any other 70 smiths that want these plans, it was very easy to do.

Was lvl 50 when I did this quest, got my axesmith, when all it took was some skilled guildmates.

Just 5-manned it with a warrior who needed the quest, not really that hard.

Does it have to be 5 manned? Ive gone with a raid group a few times and no snakestone. Or do I have to leave and rejoin group?

Where in LBRS do you find Vosh'Gajin? I can't get my raid group to go any further than Halycon and Mokk the Ogre.

I've also read that you have to leave your raid group, tag the mob, re-join raid group and you will get credit. I've also heard that Blizzard has fixed this and you have to group it.

Once I learn where Vosh is then I will post my experiments and results.

he isnt giving me the quest, is there some kind of level restrection or is there skill i still require? im a level 42 Warrior with a BS of 268 and also a weaponsmith.

I 5-manned it just now to become an axesmith (300BS already), and she dropped nothing but leather items. No snakestone.

Bug? I think so, I did have the quest.

...but the problem is that blizzard messed up badly on this quest. Is there a way to get to her without having to raid it? Because of course we both suspect you need a raid to get to her, and the quest is non-raid.
