Run to Mannoroc Coven and use the big ring portals near the road. A level 38 Doomguard appears and attacks you. Defeat him to seal the portal. The portals respawn after about five minutes, so if you don't want to explore the coven, locate three portals and make a loop. Be careful of patrols, several Infernos, Summoners and Doomguards have long patrol routes that take them right next to several portals.

Pretty easy to solo. I finished this quest as a level 35 fire mage with no problem. Just make sure you pull them out of the portal and into the lake in the middle of the area to avoid getting aggro from other mobs and patrols.
If you do aggro, remember that Infernos are immune to fire, killing them with frost bolts was painful since it doesn't do as much damage. But the fire ward is really helpful, I didn't really take that much damage from them with the fire ward/mana shield combo, just took longer to kill them than I would have liked.

Pretty easy quest i completed it as a lvl 36 warlock. Its easier if u just find 3 portals and loop and they spawn in maybe about 2-3 min. The coordinates for the 3 portals r 50,74/50,70/49,77. u dont really need to kill the mobs there but just make sure u dont get aggro by them just pull the portal guard sumwhere isolated from the mobs.

Demons guard each portal. They, along with lesser infernals patrol the area. Try and close the portal when (the partrolling demons)have just moved away from the portal.

A level 39 demon will pass through the portal and immidiatly engage you in combat. Do not fight toe to toe unless you have three or more in your party. Soloist should fight while moving backwards (towards the road). Oh, and watch your back.

Don't let their high level or the fact that they are demons entice you into farming these guys. They are very stingy with their loot. 9 out of 10 times, they drop nothing.

The demons guardians that pop out are level 39 or so. They have slightly higher than normal hps but they hit a good bit harder than a normal level 39, so keep that in mind.

This quest wasn't so bad. I was able to solo it today as a 35 Warlock. I made sure to kill the wandering Doomwarders and/or Infernals before hitting the portal. I also pulled the Portal Guardian a good distance away so the Burning Blade Summoner wouldn't beat me up. I didn't see any 39 portal guardians, only 38s. I tanked with pet with DOTs on, then drew the aggro onto myself when the guardian was about half-dead. When I got into trouble, I just feared him and bolted him to death.

The biggest problem were not the quest demons themselves, but the numerous alliance characters that were attempting to gank me.

find the portals with no one walkin near by, or wait for them to leave, then open and kill him. did this one killin only the portal guards that spawned when opened, easy enough

The spawns are level 38 and their damage is almost like elite and hp almost like elite. Ifu can heal, its no problem, but for a class like rogue this is a challenge.

The way I did it solo on my 39 Druid was sneak up (was not stealth) to the portal as close as I could until I could activate it. You do NOT have to be right on top of the purple portals to activate them. Get as close as needed to turn the little "gear wheel icon" gold. Then the second it was activated I ran. The Demon stayed inside the Portal. I then turned around and used range damage to pull him to me away from other mobs and killed him. Took a little bit of time, but did not get aggro this way.

Even more annoying that the damn demons are the adds. The Burning Blade Summoners especially seem to have an enormous agro range, and they wander over a wide area. Make sure the area is clear before you open a portal.

Look for the round portal looking things and right click them to release demon. Kill him to complete a closing. I recommend a 40+ helper.

He is in the main hall, you walk around (its kinda cicle shaped) then you get to the middle. There is an ally lvl 32 or sumthing npc, it dosnt matter if u kill her or not, shes out of the way. Then summon at the stone in the middle of the hall, he isnt too hard, a lvl 28 he only takes 3/4 semi-good hits, depending on your race and stuff Good bieng low crit. Good quest, Nice exp and honour! Btw return the the quest as Ghostwalker, and the tower isnt too hard to find, orc(ish) guards lvl 32-33, sum rare stuff too, solo'd at lvl 35 hunter. Enjoi!

Closing a portal summons a 37/38 demon to defend it, they hit pretty hard too.

I did this quest with a voidwalker as tank. Easy as can be......

it is possible at level 36, with a lot of patience
you need all your skills ready (including preparation of you have it, just for savety)
I advice to take healing potions with you as well
and with that its the best to summon the defender, then run outta there (try to stay alive). and then stealth back to do ambush first.

I recommend healing pots, or wait till 37
