Use the potion right in front of the shrine. Kill the one elemental that's attackable. Click on the brazier. Watch the fireworks. Then talk to the water elemental that appears about 10 seconds later.

When you drink the potion, you'll see a bunch of water elementals. You can only attack one particular elemental. He is standing in the water, not far from the brazier.

Don't lose your battle against the elemental, cause you have to go all the way back to the Barrens and get a new Septa and come back to fight again. Not fun.

FFS, stop ^&*!@ing and do it. it's easy, just alot of running.
It's worth it, you get you ~Healing Stream Totem.~
Swim the Coast to : 36.43
Drink water Sapta at stone totem thing :37.44.
You will see alot of water elementals, walk to: 38.44.. hit 'Tab' key to target the main one, and kill.
make sure you have room in your inv. loot bracers.
Go to the little fire, click on it, and your good to go.
btw I'm lvl 22, and the mob is 22. easy.

The easiest way to get to the water elemental is to fly in to Sepulcher and then just climb west through the mountains. To do this, go behind the alchemist that is to the right of the tomb. Jump your way through the small crevice that is blocked by a tree. With a few jumps, you can make it up into the crevice. Then just run due west and in a few seconds you'll be at the shrine where you need to kill the elemental and use the brazier.

quest isnt THAT hard, if you read it carefully and actually follow the directions.

Didn't see this noted before, but there is now an npc at the pool that will help you finish the quest if something goes wrong. All you need is the water sapta.

By the way, the short cut behind Sepulchre mentioned above works great to get there. You still have to walk/swim back though.

Pretty easy as a lvl 24.

finished the quest at lvl 23, if you cant find a path through the mountains you can just run north around the mountain, then west through some enemy npcs (lvl 12s) and south along the river, its hard to miss the giant rock and the troll sitting on a small hill. make sure you have the water sapta.

The above comments are accurate. Once you get to the shrine, drink the Sapta. Defeat the only manifestation that is attackable. Loot the bracers he drops. Then right click on the fire (brazier), and complete the q. Then go onto the piece of land in the middle of the water and talk to the manifestation. He gives you a q to go back to barrens to get your totem.

I've done everything, killed everyone...but I don't have the remaining drops? How do I remedy this?

I did this Quest @lvl 20.
You need the second Quest from Islem Waterseer and you become a new Questitem. The go to the Silverpine Forrest.

1. Drink the Sapta at the Big Stone near the troll Thiv (38,44)
2. kill the one elemental (you can only attack one)
3. speak with the elemtal in the middle of the sea.
4. Go back to Islen

Drink your sapta next to the monument...elementals pop up. Put your cursor over all of them...one will allow you to kill it. Kill him, then loot him. Walk over to the brazier and interact. Next guy pops up in a minute. Walk over, talk to him, hearthstone back to Crossroads (at least that's what I was able to do), then ghost wolf to Ratchet and you're done. Took a total of 20 mins from the time I left Ratchet to the time I got back to Ratchet to turn it in.

this quest is easy. it takes awhile because it takes you all over the place, but all you have to do is follow instructions. get the water samples, go to silverpine forest, drink the sapta, kill the corrupt elemental, talk to the new elemenetal, and go back to islen. there is some more stuff you have to do, but that is generaly the whole quest

So what if I died? I rez'd and went back, but alas, I no longer have the sapta. Anyone know what my next step is? Do I have to go back all the way to S of Ratchet? Man I hope not. Thanks, J

it was a really easy quest. im not shure how you get another sapta...ive never had that problem with the totem quests. the hardest part through out this whole quest was just the long walk getting to silverpine and tauren mill and ashenvale...but if you have ghost wolf then it should be easy

wherer is the place, i run around the mountain so many times. cant find the way, and if you need sapta then go back to ratchet and get it again, im lvl 27 so i think i will kill them easy, BUT CANT FIND THE WAY TO THE ROCK

when I drank the sapta all of the elementals charged the water and disappeared. Logged out and back in and the corrupted manifestation was there. Thanks for the help.

If the bracers don't drop, make sure you are not in a raid group. I had this problem once and once I left the raid it worked!

He basically says "If you failed the quest before, or something wrong happened, bring me a water sapata and i'll help ya out"
Only in regards to not being able to see the minor water manifistation, although i would think that would mean you have to fight it again, but its super easy, just did it 21 Troll Shaman

EDIT: Oh btw, this dude is at the place where you fight the elemental, he's sitting behind the rock

Well the quest was pretty easy but this whole thing annying the living heck out of be just running around the whole time like a chicken with its head cut off....took me 3 hours to get this whole thing done....good luck everyone on this....just to say it is worth it in the long run though.

Personally I found taking on the swamp things from the last part much harder. I had to get up to the lake then bring on the 22nd level hunter to decimate the island, then logged back to get my waterskin.

This part was straightforward and no problem at all. The quest is repeatable from Islen or whatever her name is.

If I can do this at level 20 and I'm below average on skills, I think there is something lacking here.

wow it took me a while, quest is very easy but i usually play alli so i didnt know where the hell the sepulcher was lol.. well if u cant kill the lvl 22 elemental go diaf its easy as hell

Just did this at L20 with my tauren shaman. The instructions given here were dead right.

1) Fly to the Sepulcher and find your way through the mountains (go west behind the apotheker who's at the right side from the inn). Continue through the mountains down towards the coast.

2) Down near the coast you'll see a big shrine, drink your sapta near it to see the water elementals.

3) Press tab to select the corrupt one.

4) Kill it which is very easy with some totems up and a couple heals. You don't have to worry about the other elementals, they won't aggro.

5) Loot the corpse and go to the fire near the shrine to continue the quest.

6) Wait for the graphical animations to end (this is quite a cool part) and talk to the minor manifestation of water elemental (or whatever it's called).

7) Back to the Barrens to collect your quest reward.

8) Now you are ready to do WC instance runs. HF!

U see,my brother had finished half of the quest and i didnt what to do after that.But it's very easy and fun!Take the zepp.from ORG to UC.Then fly/walk to Sepucher.After that u go west from Sepulcher into the mountains.When u get to the coast u will see a shrine.Near this shrine drink the water sapta and then allot of water elementals u will be possible to see.But u can only attack one of them the corrupt one,press tab and kill the guy.After that loot him and take the bracer.After that u go to one fire near by where u have to speak with a guy so u can continue the quest.After u speak with him go back to barrens,to Islen Waterseer so u can deliver the quest.I suggest u go back with a HS.So there u have very simple and easy!

Yeah you just run up into the hills behind the Sepulcher as mentioned in other posts & drop down almost right on the quest mob.

Looks like they have an npc there now to retry for all you ppl who somehow screw up this very long but pretty simple quest(not 100% on this because I didn't need to retry).

Follow the ocean side south past North Tides Hollow till you see a great big stone obelisk - thats the area - drink the sapta and wait for the elementals to spawn.

Kill the corrupted one, loot the bracer and put it in the fire. Wait a minute and the glow will disapear and the water elemental that you can talk to will apear -

Can't say this was straight forward, had to know to drink Sapta next to obelisk.
Then find an elemental to kill - thankfully the group of them didn't go aggro.
After that - a morale - and back to Ratchet.
Pleased I still keep XRoads as my home inn, so less of a wolf run (again)((and not for the last time I bet.

Tried this in a party with another shaman.

I missed the cleansed one cuz the other shaman sent him on his way.

Second time, tried the troll, to be told to go back to Ratchet, did that, tried again, but I didn't drop the broken 'Call of Water' quest.

Didn't work either, cleansed one disappeared after 1 second. Arggh! Logged off in disgust.

Next day, dropped all the 'Call of Water' quests.

Third time to Ratchet, drank third lot of sapta, killed the corrupted one, clicked the brazier (even without the required items!) and finally the cleansed one hung around long enough for me to talk to him.

Three hours on this part!

At the end of the quest, it reminds me of a scene from Poltergeist. Pretty cool ending of a quest.

Follow JaiBaghwan's instructions and you will have your totem! The elemental that you have to fight is very easy, I killed him at 20 with 75% hps left.

all i did was jump down behind the alchemist and i was straight at the shrine then drank the water chose a water element thing killed it got the bracers straight away and put them on the fire spoke to the minor manifestation and then watched the tide of the elements just run to the sea = P

At the sepulcher there is undead alchemist next to the crypt the tree to jump behind is directly behind him or if you want to dodge all the fall damage go back to the main road head north cross the bridge and head directly west until you hit the great sea and follow the coast south the shrine is along the coast directly west of the sepulcher.

This is a bit complicated, so hopefully this will help: First, go the the obelisk (at 37,44) and drink your water sapta, which should be in your inventory. When the spirits appear, look for the one that you can kill. There is only one. I found him near the pond. Kill it and loot the bracers.

Go to the fire and finish the quest. After that talk to the elemental on the little island in the pond. He will give you what you need to take back to Islen.

The troll was basically useless throughout. He had a quest to give at the end, but it was only if you hadn't spoken to the elemental on the island, which wasn't the case. Go get your totem!

1; I took flight to Undercity.
2; I ran to Silverpine, died against the 19 mobs at the iland (Was AFK ^^)
3; I were at the graveyard, got ressed by spirit healer, and woot :D Ressed. So now to do was, going just behind the inn, a big tree between 2 hills. Just behind this tree i jumped, then had about total of 60% of my HP in fall damage, came down to the shrine, and yelled "yay"
4; I killed, placed at the fire thingy, waited a little, talked, hearted, and went to Islen.

I've had the same problem as some other people trying to do this quest. You kill the lemental a few times and what's he drop? nothing. well ther's because you must have forgotten to pick up the actualy Call of Water quest to allow you to pick up the bracers. I killed him about 3-4 times and got so angry with nothing dropping off him. Then like a retard I realized I didn't have the quest to pick it up..Note: just because you have the sparta water doesn't mean you have the quest to pick up the bracers :(

A NPC exists named 'Tiv Marmoude' or similar near the sapata stone, bring him a new sapata and you can recover the quest from the 'pure drops of water' segment.

You Will Need:
A water sapta
Drops of Purest Water
(You should have both in your inventory before you leave Islen!)

Go behind the Inn in Sepulcher, there are two tall trees, you can climb behind one of them and over the rocks. You'll have to take a few falls to get down the other side, but you don't get immediately attacked so no worries.

When you walk out of the rock area, you should see the large grey stone and a small donut shaped pool of water. Make sure you're ready to fight and at full health.

Drink the water sapta. You'll see many water elementals. Right near the center of the pool is the corrupted water elemental. Kill it. Loot it.

When you loot it, you should receive the bracers. You already have the purest water in your inventory, so then you just move to the brazier and move to the next stage of the quest.

The brazier will direct you to speak to the pure water elemental, all you need to do is turn around and walk to the center of the pool. The pure water elemental is there for you.

As I came down the hill I saw the elementals - and they disappeared once I arrived.

Attempting to drink my sapta kept giving me "out of range" errors.

Just as i was about to give up, drop and reacquire, and was dreading the trip to the barrens, I found the right comment: Drink the sapta next to the standing stone!

Ok so I just did this quest with 3 shamans in my group. If one of you takes too long to turn in the quest to the elemental standing on the little island, he'll walk away. Do not worry, he will respawn in a few minutes and you can complete the quest.

Descrizione

Along the coast of Silverpine, west of the Sepulcher, you will find a shrine that has become tainted by the plague. The spirits there no longer speak to our people and it will be up to you to defeat the manifestation and cleanse the pool.

Take the elemental's bracers, along with the remaining drops of Brine's potion, and place them on the brazier. The ritual should be enough to summon a pure spirit for you to communicate with.

Bring me proof the task is done, and I will reward you with your totem.
