Good if you got that far with the quest. i know its a real pain. after that you go to DM west and kill the boss there where you have to take out the elementals around the spires there. after that you will have to go do the ritual its fairly easy. you will have to summon it then watch your back because there will be waves of demons and imps and the demon that come out can be enslaved. there are felguards that come out too have a good priest and preferably do it with people you know or are in a guild with maybe even take another experianced warlock with you that will help your chances of not having to do it again. thats how i had it done although i did not have all the mats i had it summoned for me. after you defeat the waves you will have to take down a dreadsteed that comes through the portal. thats the final part in there then i belive you go turn the quest in then you get your new beautiful epic mount ! : ) goodluck

Do you actually have to have the lodestone to do the quest to summon the Dreadsteed, or is it simply to perserve the Wheel, Bell, Parchment etc in case it fails?

Can anyone confirm that, upon copletion of the Imp in a Jar quest or whatever it's called, you can simply have another warlock that has the artifacts in question already just summon the circle for you so you can get the epic mount without buying the artifacts yourself?

I'm getting mixed signals as to whether this is possible or not. Is there a particular QUEST you need to summon the circle? Or do you just go somewhere with the artifacts and kill some horse and he drops a book that teaches you a spell or something? If there's a quest you need after 'arcanite' for summoning the horse itself, it means each warlock must spend the money on the artifacts for his or herself. If he just gives you a piece of paper telling you to go here and do this, you could "Hire" a Warlock that already has the artifacts to take you there and do it, right?

Although it sure would be neat, it is not actually possible. To bind the epic mount to you, you need to have this quest:

You maybe right about the undead epic looking cooler, but the deal is, you didn't quest for the undead mount, you bought it, like steinbrenner bought the yankees.

The Dreadsteed is %^&*!en and cool, due to the fact you earn it by quesing for it. So all that aside, the Dreadsteed > the bought mounts, 4TW

Another great option for us locks is to simply PvP till you hit Commander and you are then qualified for Dark War Steed Bridle for only 90g!

Much easier, much more fun and omg..waaay easier on the pocketbook.

So it doesn't look as evil as the summoned mount but it does the job and as the game says.."This is a very fast mount"

I am currently a lvl 52 warlock and all I can say is that even if it does cost me X amount of gold, it's still less than waht everyone else had to pay cause my first mount was free. I will be on my dredsteed when I get these quests. Damn thing looks cool as hell.

So has anyone figured out what to do after you hand in the arcanite bars? At the ens\d of thT quest I remember the short bastard saying something about a lodestone. I finished all the quests the other day, and I : (1) cant find a lodestone....(2)Dont have a mount.

If anyone can help me with this I am on the archimonde server toons name aesthete.

Ok, others have asked if we can skip this part, but no one replied to them.

I would like to know, because I only have 52 gold, and I would be hard pressed to get 3 arcane crystals for that kind of money *plus the 6 day wait it will entail*

So, would someone give an honest reply to this?

So far I spent some gold on this. i'm at this part in the quest and I have a friend that is a 300 alchemist and i'm just going to have him make me the bars and save myself 130g which is how much all 3 bars are on my server. so far I bought most of my mats and spent 250g.

I paid 110 g for 3 arcanite bars, crystals they are made from are rare drop. I believe I still need Xorothan Glyphs and a Jeevees jar, don't have any idea what these are or what they will cost. Kinda tired of the chain of quests. Too many and you must go in 2 dungeons. Too group dependent, too often in the game at this level 60 stage. I hope WOW is going to change that in Oct. when expansion comes out.

I paid 30 + 30 + 31 = 91g for 3 arcanite bars. It was really late at night and I was too lazy to try to find people to make them for me.

I turned in my 3 arcanite bars,and nothing! What do you do next? At least 3 people have asked this question, and no answer yet. What is the next step or quest?

You take the imp to scholo

Then have him make the parchment

take that quest back and turn in then you get a book from the human warlock.

thought this mount costed about 400g now i spent more than 350g and now i need 250g to buy the jeeve's jar,a black lodestone and xorothian glyphs.. pfff, i'd rather buy a mount for 900g

If the quest chain stops after you hand in the arcanite then you might have done what I did - which is you might have forgotten to complete the quest chain in Jaedenar. I went back there, forked out 150g for the stardust, handed it in at the imp and everything got back on track.

I screwed up this quest series by running out of Shadowy Potion while I was in Jaedenaar and Lord Banehollow attacked me. I killed him. Then realizsed I was stuck. I abandoned the quest but can't find where to get it started again.

The GM's won't help because they say there is an in-gamne hint.

PLEASE advise me where to pick this up again. I am level 70 and can't get a bird until I sort this mess out!

Where the quest was orginally given... that would be in Burning Steppes near the Altar of Storms.

I first did this back in Vanilla and had a blast, but decided to be a bit more prepared this time around. I thought I'd share my notes in case they might be helpful to anyone else. TL;DR at bottom. Cheers.

Now that the Bell, Wheel and Candle are made, I should make a black lodestone. During your ritual, you'll need that lodestone to maintain the other ritual objects if they should fail.

To make the lodestone, I require arcanite. Do you have any? If not, then... you'll have to get the arcanite from an alchemist.

Return to me when you have the arcanite, and then I'll make the black lodestone.
