I had done this quest a few times in the past, and just did it again... really disappointed that they got rid of the xp reward. Honestly, the money didn't mean anything to me, and I would have gladly traded that for the original xp reward. Not really worth it anymore.

Pristine Yeti Hide (Feralas Quest) -- drops from -- could it be Yetis in Feralas?

This quest gave me 2200 exp. It can also be redone as many times as you find the hide. It drops from the rage yetis to the north. Drop rate is pretty common, but you can only carry one at a time.

More specifically, it drops from the rage scar yetis up north in feralas near the twin colossals. Pretty snazzy litle quest.

Is 11 rep or 110? at 11 rep is waste of time, once u take in calculus the time wasted to travel from feral rage scar to feathermoon and back.
As a side note, u get it from skinning too, and drops a lot more often, i got it when i was leveling my warr, but i didnt noticed the rep increase :( anyone can plz check?

at level 46 I received 70sp, 2200xp, and 100 Darn rep..... repeated 5 times each with same result. I then bought some "wrapping paper" from the trade vendor.... hoping I could "wrap" each hide.... thereby hiding the fact that it was a unique item and collecting lots without having to make all the travel time back and forth. I forgot you cannot wrap bound items.... so that didn't work.

Killed 10 of these, and the "pristine" hide did not drop. Gave it up, as I am level 46 and the mobs 47-48. Waste of time for me at my present level. Coords 52,32.

Since every turn-in at and before 48 gives 100 reputation with Darnassus, it's great for people who want to learn how to ride tigers. I started grinding on these from level 45 to obtain the Pristine Yeti Hides, and with 70 silver from the turnins to boot, this is hand-down a great quest.

Since the 2.0 update patch, you do not recieve exp from this quest anymore. Just reputation and silver. Same goes for the Perfect Yeti Hide which I believe is the same quest now as the quest descriptors are identical.

Im lvl 48 and ive done this quest 4 times now and i get 250rep and 70s each time i hand it in.

After the patch, no xp is earned. Just 70s and rep point with darnassus.

did this again at lvl 64 If you want rep with Darnasus this gives 250 rep and is repeatable!

Got 4400xp for the Improved qual. quest and for prestine yeti hide i got 2900xp and 70 silver and 250 rep with Darnassus on both quests = 7300xp and 1g40s :DD lvl 44 roag

One day after you turn it in, you get a letter from the guy with a rugged armor kit attached

I had to kill 106 yetis for this to drop. Defias Pillager HC.

Turned in the quest, came back, and got it after 6 kills. Then again, only 2 kills. So it goes.

I got 80 Darnassus rep and 2200 xp at level 53, and 1750 xp at level 54. I got the xp and rep even after repeating the quest.
