When you are doing this quest, unlock the junkbox and loot the stuff but leave the cheapest loot behind. This way, you get some of the coin/loot, but you also have the junkbox to turn in.

The quest has a blue ? meaning its repeatable but the reward is unique. I've only turned this quest in one time. I gained reputation with Raven but lost rep with syndicate. I don't know of anything you get for having rep with either one and the knives aren't really that good, so what's the point?

, u get a gold for handing in the boxes then get the knives.

Sell the knives and repeat. made some nice gold till I got past collecting them.

Just cruise through Thott a bit. Heavy Junkboxes picked off of mobs lvl 50 or higher.

dude eastern plaguelands and western plaguelands is where you gotta be...I suggest tyr's hand... many people all pickpocketable... most with heavy junkboxs.

To repeat this quest you must sell/discard your the original reward.

This isn't actually rogue only, I was offered this repeatable (blue ?) quest as a Tauren Warrior, taking a trip to Ravenholt to buy some Engineering plans. I'm not sure what use other classes may have of this quest though, or even if they can get the required items.

how come I got this quest at lvl 25... when the things i need to pickpocket are lvl 52+? =\

I just turned 5 boxes and received 1 throwing knife...

I wonder, why are they giving me only 1 knife... is it really ment to be used as thrown weapon? It has a UNIQUE on it, e.g. I can have only one. ROFL!

Anyway, when i went to any vendor, he will buy this 1 piece of throwing knife for 1g32s53c... I guess, that's just waaaaay tooooooo expensive ammo to throw it away.

Tell ya what, if you bring me 5 Heavy Junkboxes, I'll provide you with some of the finest throwing knives known to roguekind.

You can unlock the boxes and rifle through them, but you'll have to leave at least a few coins in them... even a rogue in training needs motivation.

I did this quest for the first time just now and got 50 rep with Ravenholdt and -250 rep with Syndicate. Still no XP but those daggers are better than the daggers I've seen to buy. I don't know if this is just for the first time turning it in yet but it did give me 50 the first time regardless. Mabey, eventually Rep with them will be worth the effort :)

farm felwood felpaw furbolgs for timbermaw rep, at the same time, pickpocket them and collect the heavy boxes. you should get 5 in under 20 mins.

It is repeatable, as it's just another one of the blue ? guys...

you can get the junk box off any mob that you can pick pocket.. I'd say over 52.. may have to be a bit higher.. not sure :)

didnt' realize the reward when I was doing it..so now I just carry around dagers that probably won't get used.. as I have a stats bow in that slot...

and no rep increase from what I could tell.

Next to useless quest. No Exp, no rep increase, daggers sell for next to nothing, and are hardly worth using. You're better off taking the silver pieces from the junkboxes.

I'm a level 60 rogue, I got +50 rep with Ravenholt (while friendly) and -250 rep with the syndicate (while hated)

This quest is incorrectly tagged as "rogue". Any class can do it, provided a rogue pickpockets the junkboxes for you. Worth noting that it is the only Ravenholdt quest that non-rogues can do, as well as the only way for non-rogues to get Ravenholdt rep.
