I got 3000 XP and about 50 rep points with the Cenarion Circle as well (at lvl 59). I do recommend getting some extra for yourself. :) The drop rate for the sandworm meat seems to be only about 10-20%, so it does take a while.

The best way I have found is to buy flint and tinder from the Innkeeper, make your fire, sell the tinder back. Better to waste a silver or two than do any travel.

The mats are spices and Sandworm meat, just buy the spices there and the meat is a drop off any worm in Silithus. It's a fairly high drop rate too..

Just some 1.9 (when I finally completed the quest) information:

There is an Ironforge-like brazier in the stronghold now, as well as a general goods vendor that you can buy and cook after you get the sand worm meat.

Getting the sand worm meat itself was the hardest part... *grr*

To reiterate, she sells flint/tinder,

BUT if you walk out of the inn and turn left, you will see a "cooking fire" that you can cook in.

You're better off buying the meat. Took me thirty plus worms, not to mention other mobs that attacked while slapping the worms, to get a whole pieces of sandworm meat. You need ten pieces - stuff that for a joke.

Indeed, this quest is!
I have 292, and finally i get an amusing way of dragging it up to 300, as making the dumplings is red !

Any1 have tried selling dumpls at AH?

They're also used in the new Cenarion quests, with the Logistic badges.

Quest is called:

Desert Survival Kits

and requires 4 dumplings, among other items.

You can cook on the braziers - like in IF.

I got the Q at level 60 but my cooking was only 290 so you dint have to be 300 but the recipe took me there. :-)

There is a trade goods vendor in front of the building near the horde FP. You can buy the spices there. You can cook at any of the flaming braziers located in the area.

It really wasnt that hard, it took me about 30 minutes to get the sandworm meat, and my cooking was 291 and it brought me up to 301. The money was nice, too bad she couldnt include about 10 of these in the reward too, hehe :)

49, 36 she is just up the hill from the quest giver on the right side of the building as you face it, in front of a wagon.

"That recipe sure will come in handy" ... WHAT recipe? I did the quest before this, now I'm supposed to deliver some dumplings, but none of the vendors seem to sell the recipe (of course, if it's a limited supply item the odds of me finding it with the zone packed atm are slim). I was not given the recipe by the questgiver, and it sure doesn't seem to be laying on the ground anywhere that I've seen, so ... How in the heck do I get the recipe?

well i kind of completed this quest when i didn`t have the 2ndary skill as cooking , meanwhile i took cooking and as a rogue i really want this recipe !
any ideea how to get it if i already completed the q before i had cooking ?

Just got 50 rep (instead of the listed 75) for this quest. lvl 60 Horde 4025/6000 friendly. (yes, I've been grinding the 1 rep kills for awhile already)

Do this quest at the same time as Securing the Supply Lines. The worms you need to kill for that quest will drop all the meat you'll need for this quest.

on my AH right now, 1 dumpling is 1g 9s buyout

ten Soothing spices are also 14s. So you just get 1.56g for this quest whereas you can easily make 10g from selling these.

3000 exp is very little as well. screw this quest, no followup, not worth it.

You can do the cooking at the fire located at /way 50.91 38.84

If you're like me and are only after the recipe, I'd say don't bother to complete this quest. I did both Securing the Supply Lines along with the follow up, and after killing over 40 worms total, still only got 7 sandworm meat.
