Three hellboar will spawn by the ogres (the ones around the side of the mountain, not too far from the road). They take a while to respawn and are now way overfarmed but they are there. It took me about 25 min last night to get all seven.

this is an alliance quest too. Hopefully this new lvl 50 warrior quest yields something good.

i found 2 of them south of the oogres ,at 46.51 area.

You can find 2 Hellboards south of the ogres and near the entrance to the Tainted Scar and one more in some random pit. The think is though that they appear to be on a random spawning cycle, so I found the first 2, killed them, then only one respawned and the other respawned as basilisk at the same spot. Killed the one again, then it respawned as Felbeast, and kept respawning as either Felbeast or Basilisk. I then swept the whole map 5-6 times for about an hour, unable to locate another hellboar. Returned and killed the first ones, still no luck, the respawn seems to be stuck. What a retarded quest.

I went to 46,51 as the earlier post states but there weren't any there. So I wandered around for a bit and found that they spawn at the following 3 spots. 46,51; 52,54; and 53,39 so just wander back and forth between those 3 spots and you can finish in about 10 minutes. By the time you get back to one spot from the other 2 they have usually respawned

i've killed 3 with no trouble but not getting credit for the kills.

i did it like 3 days after patch came out

its incredibly easy all u gotta do is run around and when u see a boar that is on fire stop and kill it

o and it probably took me 1 hour to do the whole series excluding the temple part that includes looking for the mobs and dealing with alliance that were there doing the quest in groups also there we horde to so it made finding the mobs harder

The one where you have to kill Hleboars you follow the road until it break off like a fork go right when you start seeing those demons that Warlocks summmon and baskilisks take a right you should find them, they look all fiery. And for Voodoo feathers, you have to do Sunken Temple and kill all the trolls on the balconey they drop the feathers and for advice, The shoulders are for more of arms warrior's, the helm for mostly fury warriors, the can for Protection, just to help,you all to choose

...for the respawns. Take those quests from the Bloodmages at the entrance to Blasted Lands for the parts of the various monsters to make the +50 Stat potions. That's why I prefer the spot near the ogres cause I can get the items from the Basilisks and the Scorpok Reavers, and the like. Just something to think about while doing the quest.

I got this quest at level 53, not 57.

Easy? Im level 50 war. The Hell Boars are level 53. Here is how it went down, rush in, dem shout, reatleation thunder clap and battle shout. Fight lasts about 1 min with me dead and him about 200 hp from exe. Easy? no. Maybe for a 51 but not a 50.

They put out alot of Fire damage. Suggest bringing a few FR pots and (like is said below) stack some sunder.

ever heard of it? most warriors use it when killing enemies and holding aggro try it next time if you cant kill an enemy thats only three levels above you -_-

This is goddamn easy quest. Bring one FR pot, some food/bandages, mount (hehe) and go around Dark portal and you will get them in less than 1h if there isn't anyone that farm them too. U don't have to use 5 sunders, they don't have that much armor, but 2-3 sunders are enough. If you are arms speced, just enrage, BS, charge, 2-3 sunders, MS, HS... your choice what you gonna do to them later ;)

Killed 5 hellboars, no spawns for 21 mins,went to town, came back to same area killed last 2 in 3 mins. Dismounted and 1 hellboar attacked me lol

The Helboars are a shared spawn with at least the Scorpids and Felhounds. If you can see literally no Helboars around, head to an area where there are lots of the above (such as near the ogres) and massacre everything. Move nearby and do the same again. When you return to the first area, it's very likely you'll find Helboars. Likewise the second area. Doing this once netted me the requisite seven.

Well it took me 10 mins to kill the boars. They respawn quickly like every 2 mins. There are 2 boars there usually lvl 52 but sometimes there is a 53 one

As a 50 warrior this was pretty easy.
Died twice and both times because I didn't pay attention to that big-ass Boss dragon circling around (can't wait until I get to kill him...).

Pick them one by one and rest in between.

My normal sequence;
1) Bloodrage,
2) Demoralize,
3) Rend,
4) Thunderclap,
5) Hamstring
(with the bloodrage active you should have been able to put these four on him pretty quickly).

Now sunder and heroic strike him until dead.
'Fill up' on anything 1-5 when u get a chance.

At first I had to look all over the map.... once I got all seven they seemed to be everywhere. One attacked me on the road as I was heading north to turn this part of the chain in.

I found quite a few of these around south of the mountain "Rise of the Defiler" co-ordinates 44.35.

wouldn't say it was annoying, pretty easy if anything, just be patient and soak up the XP. had my lvl 51 warrior just slay everything in sight (apart from Teremus the Devourer, , if you see him, run, fast!).

also handy if you happen to pick up any Imperfect Draenethyst Fragments for the One Draenei's Junk quest etc as Kum'isha the Collector is just hanging around in that area, so you can pick up some decent loot.

Took 35 minutes to kill the seven. Damn these boars and their respawn timer. finished the last one off with Recklessness to vent.

Wow, worst quest ever, 45 minutes of running in circles on my mount around the overly mob populated blasted lands constantly getting dazed and knocked off while waiting for some stupid fugging pigs to respawn. We can only hope that whoever created this quest at blizzard has since caught genital herpes and accidentally driven their car off of a steep cliff.

Yes it took long....BUT, i was wating for some few lvls, i did the quest at lvl 54 =D

In my opinion, this is a VERY annoying quest :) Did it right after it came...And so did every alliance player around...In total there are about 5 helboars around...And they take about 5-7 mins to respawn >.< Add more boars Blizzard!

I'm surprised at a lot of the negative response to this quest. Yeah, it sucks waiting for the helboar to respawn, but I've done quests like this that were a lot more annoying.

My suggestion would be, if you're tired of waiting for the boars to respawn, kill the other mobs. It helps clear the way, plus I found that a lot of times if I killed one of the fel demons, basilisks, or portal seekers, a helboar spawned in its place rather than the kind of beast I killed. And if you can down 51-53 helboars, none of the other mobs should be much trouble. It took me about 30 minutes, maybe a little more. To be fair, I'm kind of lucky because I only play WoW late at night, so I didn't run afoul any alliance.

The biggest danger was Teremus the Devourer. He showed up twice while I was killing helboars. Luckily, I didn't aggro.

Does anyone know if this is in wow classic? The fallen hero of the horde NPC who hands out the quest doesn't seem to have anything available, just talks to me.

Now available since phase 3 has dropped.

The Helboars share spawns with Felbeasts as far as I could tell. If you don't see any Helboars, kill a few Felbeasts. The absolute best spot to find 3 guaranteed is 51, 38. I also ran around 46, 51 and 52, 54.
