Washte Pawne can be found in the south Barrens, in the area north of Razorfen Kraul and Razorfen Downs. He can spawn on either side of the road, he has a rather quick respawn rate and he has a 100% chance of dropping the feather that starts this quest.. For the hunters out there, he's level 25, he's got a dark red skin, and he comes with lightning breath 3.

So I have this Washte Pawne item. Jorn says nothing to me. He doesn't take it from me. What should I do with it? It says it begins a quest, but what quest?

Make sure you right click on it to get the quest into your log. Once it's there, all you have to do is see Jorn at Camp T. Very easy XP.

Latoka'Mani- a kodo (wooly) found directly north of CampT
Owatanka- a thunder lizzard (blue) found slightly southwest of CampT
Washte Pawne- a thunder hawk (red) found near Kuz below Feild of giants
Slithid Harvester- a crazy looking beetle thing (if u have played MMBN3 for the GBA, it looks suspiciously like the scuttlest enemies) foun on the right side of the field of giants if ur heading south.
if there any others i dont know bout em, but i know that they DO in fact give a permanent stat bonus. owatanka and lotoka'mani are easy kills, easily soloed, but Washte and the Harvester are near impossible to solo unless ur a higher lvl (wasthe is 25, the harvester is 24)
the harvest behaves much like a slithid swarmer and calls multiple minions who atacks so frquently its impossible to cast a spell.

Washte Pawne isn't that hard a fight (soloed him as a 20 Shaman).

I'm a Nightelf Hunter. I can't do the quest. I can't even sell the feather. Why do I even get to loot this $%^&? Away with you feather!

Killed Washte at 46,80 but I've previosly seen him around the Razormane's in Blackthore ridge Southwest of the kill

I have to disagree with the above poster, I finished this quest 10 minutes ago, and did gain +2 to spirit.

i too removed all gear and have the +2 spirit bonus, not sure if its temp or a perm thing yet...

k i understand it a horde quest but why does it tell me a alliance that its a quest item and i can sell it....sounds like a bug or do horde get our stuff and it does the same?

This qst DOES indeed give you +2 Spirit points.

JUST TESTED: Although it does give you a 2 spirit bonus, it is removed after you die. It's not permanent! :(

Solo'd this one at level 23, no big deal. Found him south of Camp Taurajo just before you get into the Thousand Needles zone.

My result:
You gain 1500 experience.
Your reputation with Thunder Bluff has increased.

He's a bright red level 25 windserpent. He's tameable and makes for a very beautiful pet. There are a lot of Hecklefang Stalkers in the area (level 22-23) that can pack a mean punch, so proceed with caution.

Um, for some reason I don't think it's spirit. My mana got a boost so for some reason I'm going to assume it's intellect. I've also been told he gives you a boost to stamina before, so who knows. Maybe it's class dependent? My boyfriend didn't notice a change at all.

confirmed. this quest does raise spirit as part of the reward.

Found at: 44,78
Reward: 1500 Experience, 150 rep to Thunder Bluff, Perm +2 to Spirit.

This mob roams the area "The Field of Giants". You can find him south of Camp Taurajo on either side of the road. He's bright red, easy to spot.

This quest does give 2 spirit upon completion, Will update with a comment after I die to show whether or not it is permanent.
