The tower is just to the right of the quest giver "Balthule Shadowstrike" (55,26) and just begin killing Dark Strand Fanatics. They occassionally drop the "Worn Parchement" that you need.

I spent some time right outside the tower killing the npc's there but I have yet to see a warlock. Im guessing I have to go into the tower?

i tried getting into tower and just got attacked when i got close..

1st kill of those Dark Strand Fanatics outside got me the 1st of the the 4 q items..

they're classed as warriors by mod, but they cast curses...so i guess they're the warlocks o_O

Only the fanatics drop the worn patchments. There's no need to go inside the tower or kill any warlocks. Just kill the fanatics around the tower of Althalaxx.

quick question is it possible to pickpocket the worn parchments from the frantics if your a rogue?

The "warlocks" is at the 2 stands south of the tower

I have a Rogue Elf and I was able to get the parchments required to do this quest when I was at level 16. The Warlocks I came up against were either level 16 or 17. By drawing them away from the others, with my bow & arrows, I was able to pick them off one at a time. Their spawn rate is fairly fast, so make sure you don't get caught with one poping up behind you, as you try to draw the further ones away from the others. I only had to kill the ones south of the Tower, located near two bonfires and a short way North of them.

Got one parchment from lvl 16 at camp closest to me. Got one from lvl 17 at camp far right. As I headed up the right hand side of tower, got one from lvl 17 from hill on left. Delmanis the Hazard I think his name was came from the left, attacked him than lvl 16 got aggroed by my pet. She dropped the last one. Headed back to Balthule and had to kill another lvl 17.

The scraps of parchment can be obtained as loot from the Dark Strand Fanatics near the tower.

Descrizione

A group of warlocks has taken up residence around and inside the tower. I would have returned to Auberdine to report to Elissa earlier, but I was afraid that I might miss something while I was away.

Delgren suspected such a company might be gathering at the tower, but did not know why.

A few scraps of parchment that the warlocks carry have found their way to my hands, but I need more to complete the puzzle. I warn you not to venture into the tower, however, the warlocks there are much more powerful!
