Excellent choice for hunters. I got mine at 63 and wasnt able to find an upgrade until i got Thrallmar revered for the Blackened Spear. The dps on it is 'meh' but it's so cheap and has so much crit, i just love it.

Hunters should have this waiting for them at 63 when they can use it. You won't replace it until you get one of the blue polearms at level 70, and even then you might wear it over Terokk's Quill when you want straight DPS with no stamina.

Fel Iron is generally very cheap, and most blacksmiths will be happy to craft this even for a modest fee, or even no fee at all if you happen to approach them in a friendly fashion.

Edit: Crafted one for my Hunter alt last week. It looks pretty striking, a strong red style. I agree beastmastery would be a very complimentory enchant.

Amazing sword for a hunter. I had a blacksmith make it and an enchanter put 25 AGI on it for the day I hit 63 (today). It's red with black runes and glows green with the enchant, awesome.
