You know how people warn you "Characters not on this quest fight this mob too, so the drop rates are way off"?

This is not the case.
Drop rates are pretty much horrible for this quest.

So far 25 kills 2 blood..

*shrug* killed 20 mobs, got 18 blood..dunno what to do with the extra 6 though.

Does it help if you get 1 blood, use it at hte cauldron and get another blood? or does it takes longer to get all the blood or faster?

After the turn in to Apothecary Albreck at Spinebreaker Post, I had left over blood which was not deleted at turn in. This quest is not repeatable so you can delete any extra blood.

The drop rate on the blood is very low..7%..also, boiling the blood is a pain too with all the pats and the scarabs and then all you get for finishing the quest is 90s and 3,000 less exp than most quests give. Not sure whether or not a bigger reward comes after the chain but i definatly could have found better use of my time :P

I hate this quest, mobs just "randomly" spawn on top of you constantly, as your finshing one off, one by one more will keep attacking. You wonder how without moving 7 mobs just happen to find you.
