Use to be able to get this with Exaulted Reputation from Warsong Gulch. However with 2.0.1 I am curious how much rep / tokens you need to get one. Anyone know?

You must still attain Exalted status with the League of Arathor, and then complete https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=8115 to get the Arathor Battle Tabard.

*Edited for clarity. The post to which this was orginally a reply has been purged; It stated that the Silverwing, Stormpike and Arathor Battle Tabards are all available for honor purchase, which is incorrect.

Above is now no longer completely true with the release of patch 5.1, instead;

"Control Five Bases" has been taken out of the game.

The three tabards are in fact now all available for honor purchase, but Arathor Battle Tabard has the added requirement of Exalted status with the League of Arathor.

Arathor Battle Tabard can thus be purchased for 2.679 honor points from Samuel Hawke upon reaching Exalted status.

Some PvP geeks have all pvp tabards that u can get for ally on my server: Grim batol,
I got this tabard and i´ve meet over 30players that have asked" ohh where did u get that cool tabard" and soon and that Vala says that u must be exalted to get the AB tabard is kind lame becuse whit the other PvP factions u dont need to be exalted but i still got all tabards

dont want to be shamed but i find this tabard a little more cool than the horde's one. Just the color and the bird are more original than one more skull on u. Maybe i just didnt wear all the pala pvp sets with eagles and stuff but still i would prefer this one.

I saw this tabard some days ago; the player which is ranked #1 on our server wears it, along with some Epic PvP equipment.

Im a 19 twink, ive been at WSG for about two weeks... im honored. I was taking time out to gather herbs for more money to improve gear, but i gave that up to my main.

The tabard requires Exaulted with the WSG faction. It costs >>4.5g<< Look to take forever to get this tabard!

There is no shortcut to getting it, you basically need to capture alot of Flags. Actually me being a lvl 19 twink means it takes me even longer... especially since I am not able to gain levels and therefore am unable to turn in marks.

BUT to let you all know how fast you gain reputation, each flag captures gives you 35 rep. add 10 on double honor week. if you turn in 3 marks you get 50 rep. if you win a match and turn in marks, you get 185 rep per game at double honor week... if your fast, thats about 5-6 games per hour. thats 1110 rep if you are able to do 10 min matches and instant re-queue. you need to gain 3k+6k+12k+21k to get exaulted. thats 42000 repuatation. 42000/1110 = 38 hours.. thats about a day and a half of solid WSG. IF you win every time and get instant re-queue. 630 rep if you dont want exp and not honor week. 42000/630 = 67 hours... about 3 days, give or take a couple hours... spread that over time and add most likely massive queue lines or lack of opponents, and ur gonna be at WSG for a VERY long time.

u said u cant get exualted with 10-19. what about 20-29? i have a pretty decked out hunter, and i just made friendly. i was wondering if i could go as far as exaulted at that lvl. wearing that thing in 20-29s would be awesome.

You CAN get exalted doing 10-19 and 20-29 BG...dosnt matter what levle u are.

Yep, it's totally possible to get at level 19.

In fact, my level 19 paladin twink IS exalted.

Although it takes a very long time winning all those Warsong Gulch games, I think it's worth it. It looks pretty cool.

Reward from a quest you can get during the Fire Festival. And yeah, you can only do the quest during the festival. I got lucky, heh.

The only reason I wear them is for intimidation, they aren't good for combat whatsoever.

Here's a look at what the amount of Reputation points you need to gain faction are

Neutral - Friendly: 3000
Friendly - Honored: 6000
Honored - Revered: 12000
Revered - Exalted: 21000
Exalted - Fully Exalted: 999

So, in total, that is 42,999 reputation points to get the tabard.

Now, since I'm a human, I get a 10% bonus reputation gain.

Every flag in WSG you cap, you get 35 reputation points. Essentially, every game you win, you get 105 reputation points.

For me, I got 114 reputation points every time I won a game.

Since I couldn't turn in the marks of honor gained from winning (I would level up to 20 if I did - a big twink no-no), I had to win a grand total of

377 games plus one cap of a third one.

It will take you, if you aren't human, 410 games.

Factor that into how many games you play/win weekly, and figure it out. It took me roughly two months.

No. You just need 60 marks of honor and then turn it in to the lady in Ashenvale. :)

i have a lvl 19 gnome rouge twink on Aerie Peak, and ive been kicking butt with my friends and ive gotten a total of over 150 marks of honor, ive spent a bunch, but then i had everything that you can buy except the tabard, and i had a full 100 marks, so i thought ide get the warsong tabard. it looks soooo terrible on gnomes, i thought it looked cool on some of the humans and night elfs ive seen it on, but geez, this tabard is no fun for gnomes!

i finally find a way to spend my marks...
i have 5 pages of marks in my mail box (though 80 % are loss) and bought all wsg major combat pot, and i am still lvl 60, cant use.

but 60 marks = 1.2g is better than nothing

i call it gold farming through pvp.

I think iv'e seen this guy before a few weeks ago on my server US-Dragonblight but i forgot his name, i remember he was a lvl. 19 warrior. So if i guess you need to ask him for any tips to get it look under 'who' and type warrior 19.

Yeah, if you go to the official website it seems like all you need are 60 WSG marks (or 20 victories, heh) to get the Silverwing Tabard. Too bad you have to go all the way to Ashenvale. :p

This is pretty easy to get now. Just takes 60 WSG tokens. My 19 twink got it in just a few evenings of Horde hunting.

I must say it looks good with his Blood Elf purple hair and skin. Especially with his purple/gold Leggings of the Fang.

Actuly its pretty easy to get it in 1 day. once i heard u dont need the rep at 19 for items i started a twink... after i got all my gear from PvP vendor located southeast of astranaar. i was going to go after the tabard for kicks. i was a human chick so it looked pretty cool.

So i got a huge raid from my guild on Burning Legion called Tauren Dairy Farmers (isnt a guild anymore. at the time i post this note twink tastic is the best 19 twink guild on the server) there were of coarse 10 ppl all twinked out. really, really twinked out. too bad clefthoof and nethercleft wasnt made yet at that time.

so we did battle grounds for a few hours and won every single one of em.

itll take 20 battlegrounds at the least if you win every single one of em.

of coarse 60 battlegrounds at the most if you always lose em all(that usually doesnt happen unless your alliance unguilded youll usually lose... horde seems to be pretty good on most servers.)

if you keep winning the battlegrounds quickly itll take you about even only 6 hours to get the tabard. i got mine in 8 hours straight.

its very fun. the easy way to win is to charge out, kill all the horde, go to their GY and keep killing them there. have em holded up at their GY while one (perferably a pally or rogue) goes for their flag. pretty simple. and if a horde somehow gets ur flag u should be right at their GY waiting or rezzed at your GY incase you died if so... run after her/him. very very easy.

I would like it if alliance only read this so plz dont make a horde on burning legion and use this stragety...it usually works lol.

get pretty much every item w/ best enchants that are mostly stam. giving blue items (int if caster). be sure to put a libram on your Green Tinted Goggles, and get nethercleft.

alright ive decided my twink to be a dwarf pally...the only problem is all the twinks ive ever made have been rogues..so i have no clue what instances i should go through and what armor i should get...

This tabard is awesome. I waws talking to Numbnuts on Doomhammer (EU) today and he told me you only had to be neutral. Is that the same with Arathor Tabard?

I just can't see spending 60 marks on this. However this is coming from a under lvl 50 alliance toon. I have yet to join a BG that has won (few that have even come close, go alliance lol).

In fact I am not even a fan of WG to begin with. I don't know how many I have done that have been over a hour long due to stand offs etc. At least with AB one way or another its generally over in 15 to 20 minutes.

My guild tabard is much prettier, but it's odd for me to wear it cause I wear robes and you cant see it on the skirt... (i dont think i have made myself clear... sorry :P)

You will need to be Exalted with the Silverwing Sentinels to buy this item in Classic.

Each flag capture in Warsong Gulch gives 35 Reputation with the Silverwing Sentinels. Winning a game grants a total of 105 Reputation. Turning in 3 Warsong Gulch Mark of Honor grants 50 Reputation and you get 3 of those for winning or 1 for losing.
